On my 50th birthday, ballroom dancing came to mind because I wanted to take up a new “sport” to help keep me in shape and at the same time I also wanted to do something fun with my wife. While I was willing to jump in with both feet, my wife is a bit more cautious about my crazy ideas. Now we both love it and have been taking lessons for over a year. We expected to find just a couple of instructors in a small studio. Instead, we were surprised to see a beautiful ballroom with an expansive dance floor and to see seven instructors teaching private lessons with another teaching a group lesson. The staff and the students were incredibly warm and welcoming. Initially we felt self-conscious but our instructor Amanda made us feel comfortable from the minute we were on the dance floor. After our first lesson, we discussed wanting to dance better at weddings and charity events and Amanda crafted a lesson plan to meet that goal. What keeps us coming back is the positive experience. The instructors are both highly accomplished dancers as well as great teachers. It’s also fun to learn with people of all ages including engaged couples, parents getting ready for their child’s wedding, professionals and super fit seniors.

My husband and I started dancing at Arthur Murray Lincolnshire almost 2 years ago, and its been the most fun weve ever had. Not only are we spending time together doing something weve come to really love, weve met and shared the experience with some really terrific people. The staff is so, so great - they support and encourage you so positively and really work to tailor your lessons to meet your particular abilities and needs. The atmosphere at the studio is so warm and welcoming, and between the weekly Friday night dance parties and the group classes, weve had a chance to learn so many new dances and have actually gotten pretty good at some. Thanks to Arthur Murray Lincolnshire, we feel like we can hold our own on the dance floor at any event. The beauty of their system is that you learn not only from your instructors, but from the experience of dancing with your fellow students at all levels of skill. The most important thing is that its so much fun - its pretty much impossible not to be happy when youre dancing! Were hooked - great people, great times!

Who knew dancing could be so much fun? I was a typical middle-aged man who thought jumping around more-or-less to the beat was dancing. My wife had some ballet experience and was a good dancer. We had talked about trying ballroom dancing, and I stumbled across the Arthur Murray Lincolnshire kiosk in a mall while desperately searching for a Christmas gift for my wife. A gift certificate and 5 lessons later and we were hooked for life. Now I can dance well enough to keep up with my wife and we are winning competitions in our age and experience category. The instructors and other students at AM Lincolnshire are the best! Young and old, beginners and advanced, we all dance together and have great fun. I can highly recommend this studio whether you want to learn a little or a lot about dancing!

Its been 3 1/2 years since my husband and I started taking lessons at Arthur Murray Lincolnshire, and we enjoy it more every day. I wrote a review a year ago lauding the staff and the really top quality program they run and Im even more satisfied with our experience a year later. We have learned so much, gotten in much better physical and mental shape, and have never had more fun. The instruction is top notch - our lessons are tailored to our needs, the teachers are unbelievably supportive, and weve really progressed. Whats really special, though, is the sense of family, of camaraderie, and just plain joy that permeates the studio - Its truly our happy place! I cant recommend it highly enough!

want to learn how to dance? Arthur-Murray Lincolnshire is the best place to learn. they have a friendly qualified staff able to teach any dance that you desire. a great place to meet new people and make new friends. they always have events to help you improve your dancing but designed with fun in mind. they gave helped me tremendously and Im impressed with what I have learned especially since I did not have a clue as to how to dance. not to mention the health benefits of dancing and theres also core rhythm, an hour of fun exercise designed to improve your dancing. Im so glad I started dancing wish I could have started earlier but as I discovered its never to late and Ive had a great deal of fun.

I was always waiting for someone to go and learn to dance with me and finally I decided to go alone. It was the best decision I could have made. All the staff knows you by name and will welcome you in every time you walk through the door. I have learned so much already in the short time that I have been there. They will work at a pace that you are comfortable with. You can do a combination of group classes and private lessons. There are group classes Tuesday through Saturday for you to enjoy. In addition to the staff being wonderful the people that are there to learn are just as friendly and helpful. Im no longer alone on the dance floor. There is always someone looking to dance with me.

I was auditioning for a local play that required a dance audition. Since I couldnt dance I thought Id take a few lessons and maybe Id be able to fake it through the audition. I didnt get the part but after five lessons I noticed my balance improving (it had been a problem for years), my arthritic knee and shoulder felt better and I was loosing some weight. The dances, even at the beginning level were interesting to me and I realized learning this art could be a lifelong experience. For me, much more fun than going to the gym so if you have some extra money to invest in your own health and happiness this may be for you.

My husband and I started dancing lessons at Arthur Murray Lincolnshire in April this year as our son was getting married in September. We have so much enjoyed the personal attention from the instructors and are continuing lessons after the wedding. The instructors are very professional yet friendly and we enjoy the company of the other students. There are private as well as group lessons and lots of other fun social activities.
