While it was pleasant to work with the instructor I would not suggest attending class here. My fiancee (wife now) and I signed up for a package (5 sessions) for a choreographed first dance for our wedding. Our trainer was supposedly getting over a sickness even though he sounded like he was still sick. The first two sessions he had been coughing (alot) and then the third session (a week from our wedding) he had to cancel because he was hospitalized because of pneumonia! So, at the risk of getting my wife sick for our wedding he had begun to instruct us even though he was severely ill!! Since it was so close to our wedding my wife and I did not have time to catch up another dance instructor since we had already memorized the dance the previous trainer gave to us. On the contract it specifically states that if we cancel in (5) business days a complete refund of all sessions would be processed. However the Center for Ball room and Dance did not honor their agreement and only refunded three (3) of our sessions even after verbally stating that they would give us a full refund with apparently the understanding that "only sessions unattended would be refunded" which is contrary to their legal agreement. This was done with an measly apology. So we would have to spend our first dance rocking back and forth to a song that we had to pick the week of the wedding. This was incredibly disappointing considering we (you) only have one first dance. While I am sure that CBD has decent instructors, my wife and I were lied to and feel horribly cheated out of a once and a lifetime event. CBD did not honor their agreement to provide for us a choreographed dance for our first dance (which was the original offer) so according to both the wording of their contract and the original offer they should have issued a full refund but did not. Thank you for being so horribly human and non-understanding Center for Ballroom and Dance, my wife and I will always have you in our memories.

I went here with my girlfriend over a month ago and I was very apprehensive about dancing. To my surprise the instructors and staff at CBD are all so encouraging, patient, and motivating that were still going and I look forward to every visit! They offer a intro lesson and my only caution to you is that dancing can get very addicting and is a tremendous amount of fun, so be careful because you might get hooked! They also host practice parties free of charge where you can dance in a relaxed social setting. If you dont know what you want to do I recommend you give one of the practice parties or intro lessons a shot. Bottom line, great place! They have gotten me into ballroom and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Cheers, Elliot

I recently was a student in the tuesday morning adult jazz class. Our instructor Rebecca was AMAZING. she was incredibly patient and extremely informative. she is a fabulous teacher and a very talented/ gifted dancer and performer. I really enjoyed our class time together. I learned so much and would definitely love to take another class under her instruction. she always made me feel successful with my progress even though my skill level was that of a beginner. Thanks REBECCA!
