Today Googled the barbershops around me, and because of the good reviews and some of the detailed comments, i walked in for a beard clean up, i was greeted and was asked to sit on the first chair on the other side of the dividing wall, i actually began to be skeptic, looking at this gentlemans dirty station, it looked like it had one or two hair cuts before me, yet i waited for another two min till he finished txting, which was no big deal, but i will mention it since some of the reviews did say that the staff takes pride in their work. After stating how i wanted my beard, i was clear on the clean up, and shape of the work needed, and also asked the guy to make me come back, as it was my first time there and wanted a good job done on my beard to make me return in the future. Once finished, one side was rounded and the other side was square at the top of my cheeks , i asked for the front of my chin to be Bushy, or almost intact, and it was fine to reduce it on the sides toward the ears, when he was done it looked like he had gave me a pass with the clippers at a 45°angle at the bottom of my chin, completely chopping off what i wanted almost untouched, he took the cape off and showed me with a mirror what he had done,, i told him it was fine, i didnt want anything else done or to get worse, i asked him how much it was, he said 15, i had a 20, and he asked me if i wanted change, till this day i havent had anyone who cut my hair or trim my beard asked me if i wanted MY change back as if entitled to a tip, even so i still gave him a 3 dlr tip, I am giving this place three stars because i cant blame everyone at the shop for one staff member. Apart from the good reviews, i looked for a place like this because my barber who is also an artist is out of town, and i prob should have asked for chevy as well, since the reviews mention him as having pride for what i want to believe is his art, not work. I want to think that this visit was just a fluke, and maybe sometime i can change my 3 star review.

Home to probably the best barbers/hair stylists Ive ever been served by. The price can be a bit steep but the quality of the service you makes it worth every single penny. Every haircut Ive gotten here was perfection, and now I go here on a monthly basis. Shop is very well-kept and clean, and is very reminiscent of barber shops from a simpler time. Upon entering, the stylists always make you feel very welcome, and assuming you made an appointment ahead of time, are extremely punctual. On top of that, every stylist treats the art of hair styling with more care than Ive ever seen from any other shop, ESPECIALLY chain shops like Supercuts or SportClips. Stop by this place, and you are approximately 96% likely to get your perfect haircut. Making appointments here is extremely simple, as well (done via Booksy). You can even choose which stylist you want to serve you. Though all the stylists Ive been with here are very skilled and easy to talk to (very important!), and this is just personal preference, I recommend choosing Chevy if you can, as hes done the best work, in my opinion. Youre gonna have to make your appointment at least 3-4 days on advance, though. Have not had any bad experiences here whatsoever. No other shop like this one for miles and miles. Beautiful work, guys. Its so gratifying seeing your shop grow as much as it has over the past two years.

I wanted to try a new shop alot closer to me and saw the great reviews. So I set up an appointment for the next day. I went to get my hi-top fade cleaned up and my beard lined up. I have never been more disappointed in my life. My fade lines were in different spots, my beard and lineup were extremely crooked. My hair was uneven through out the entire fade. I immediately went home and shaved my head bald since the cut was so bad. I had to re-line up my own beard after the cut which was butchered as well. 8 months of growing my hair completely wasted. Never coming back again. one bad barber shouldnt have an effect on the whole shop but it was truly that bad. i even had to make a meme about cheating on your barber and getting butchered. What really has me upset is that barber had the audacity to speak about giving great cuts "cause they would fight you about bad haircuts in chicago, so you have to be able to cut"

This place tops the rest as soon as u walk in ur welcome by everyone. I spent a lot of time looking for a barber once I left the city and I came upon this place. The owner Kevin is pure class hes always in there working hard and improving the shop. He definitely shows that he has the hunger to be the best shop around. Once I went there I got my haircut from D.NO this guy has the talent to go far everything I asked for he was able to do. The best part is he gives u his opinion and options on things. he thinks out side the box. His straight blade skills are crazy. He takes his time to make sure everything comes out perfect. Once I went to him and saw how professional he is and his skills I havent gone to any other barber and wont. If u want a place that makes sure u look ur best when u leave definitely go to this place.

I had a very nice woman cut my boys hair, she was amazing. Although I asked for a certain design and she had told me "Ill try it" and I was not very comfortable with her telling me that at all!!! She not only gave my boys the very wrong haircuts after I was VERY specific with how and what I wanted, she did not do the design that I had wanted well at all. I had to wait and had another very nice and VERY AMAZING young man re-do and fix the design she had messed up. I was not at all happy with how short she cut my sons hair after I had asked for a fo-hawk. She had cut it so short that he couldnt even spike it and he started with longer hair that was able to be spiked but she cut it completely too short!!!! Be picky with your barber and make sure you completely make it known which style and cut you want!!!!!!!

Overall great experience! Will go back but with an appointment next time. I brought my 2yr old there for a cut with no appointment right when they opened Saturday morning. They were very busy. But... they accommodated us. The barber did a good job since my son kept moving his head. It would have been nice if he introduced himself. The guy at the first barber station was polite and told me they take appointments. I will definitely take my son back he loved the "barber shop" experience. Thank you, Paul and Jacob
