I have worked with the TER team for three years now planning conferences for our academic organization that meets yearly in Chicago. By comparison to TERs other clients, we are a small organization (about 350-400 attendees at our meetings), but not once have TERs staff ever treated us with anything less than absolutely impeccable service. Repeatedly, we have been surprised at just how much they treat our organization like we are the most important people in the room during our meetings and site visits. Moreover, we have benefitted more than once from TERs extensive contact list with hotel management (on-site and at corporate offices) to make things happen that lower-level hotel managers had tried to discourage. TER keeps our organization on track for excellent conferences by managing every conceivable (and even some inconceivable) detail. Weekly updates. On-time delivery of reports. Competent staff on site. Accurate accounting of financial receipts. I want also to add that TER staff have gone out of their way to attend to several personal requests (esp. medical and disability related) by individual members of our organization, for which our members (who attend 3-4 conference a year, on average) have felt was unusually generous for conference management staff. But, I tell these members that my experience thus far with TER is that this type of personal touch is not unusual at all. It is part of the DNA of this organization. Total Event Resources helped us with strategy and execution of our organizations 100th anniversary celebration during our American Occupational Health Conference 2016 in Chicago. And when I say "helped" I mean "did", basically, because they have the connections and expertise to create these special activities far beyond what I could have envisioned!
