In November of 2008 I noticed a shingle from my roof on the ground. I picked it up to reattach it on the roof. When I got up on the roof I was horrified to see that this new roof installed only 6 years earlier had slid 8 feet down and the top was only covered with tar paper. The shingles were attached poorly by the previous contractor who now was in prison. I called Tip Top Roofing in DeKalb who came and took off all of the 6 year old shingles and redid my entire roof. They finished the job in a day and a half and left my yard very clean. I was so impressed with their work that I rehired them in 2012 to do my garage roof. Then in 2014 I hired them again to redo all my gutters. This history that I had with Tip Top also gave me confidence to hire them on a big job that I am in charge of in Oregon, IL. I am the president of a non for profit organization called Hands On Oregon. We have been on a mission to save our old piano factory turned into a mall called Conover Square. Our organization and volunteers have repaired the lower half of the south wall which is 240 feet by 50 feet tall at the rivers edge. We were not confident as volunteers to do the upper levels. Tip Top has agreed to help and has even donated labor to this effort. Our organization is very thankful to the workers of Tip Top in their professional capabilities to repair this 137 year old massive building. I have only the highest regard for this company, so I give it a 5 star rating. Thanks Tip Top!

We bought a house back in December which was in pretty rough shape. The roof was in need of repair and we only had 6 months to complete the work per the insurance company. Its not a very appealing job when youre being asked to scale a 2 story roof in February but Jeremy with Tip Top Roofing came out and assessed the condition of the roof. I was expecting a recommendation for a full roof replacement but was pleasantly surprised when we he told us the roof was in good shape and only needed new flashing around the dormers and chimney and a cleaning agent to remove the algae on the roof!! Soon a crew was at my house completing the repairs. They left the worksite clean and the work was great!! I would definitely use Tip Top for any future roofing needs.

I would HIGHLY recommend Tip Top Roofing!! We had them come repair and replace our roof after it was damaged by hail and started leaking. They also put on new gutters. They even came out to meet with the insurance adjuster who was inspecting the roof. They go above and beyond for their customers!! The crew had the repairs done and new roof on in one day. Then we had the gutters done in one day at a later date. They did a great job and we havent had any issues with the roof or gutters since. The crews, staff, and owners are AMAZING! They are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! Thank you Tip Top for a great job and a fantastic price! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I would absolutely recommend these guys for your roofing needs. They were a pleasure to work with, from start to finish. I was surprised how quickly we could get a quote and get the job done. The day they came to put on the new roof, they arrived after I left for work, and they were done before I got home. They left the area around our house spotless. If it werent for our attractive new roof, I wouldnt have known they were even there! My husband, who met them at our house, said they were friendly and professional, as they had been on the phone, with me, as well. The roof looks great, was a very competitive price, and most importantly, it does its job.

Tip Top replaced my roof in 2014. I was very pleased with their customer service as well as their price. After the work was done, they came back to see what I thought of the process. While doing so, their rep saw some debris in the yard that I didnt. He was very quick to pick it up and discard it. I was so happy with their work, I recommended them to my girlfriend and neighbor who are also happy with the work. They also did some siding work for me in 2016. Companies who do quality work for a low price with great quality service are hard to find. But Tip Top is definitely one of them.

Tip Top stands by their name and i wouldnt hesitate to refer them to anyone looking for roof repairs or having a new roof installed. From the estimate process to the actual work being done JJ was upfront and very thorough about making sure my needs were met. Insurance was involved do to damage from storms. JJ helped explain the hole process and what to expect from insurance and how to deal with that side of things. Cant say enough about the customer service. All in all great local business and will be calling them back for future work.
