I forgot the barbers name, but he did a nice fade, and was friendly. Reason why Im giving it 1 star is bc he took so long to complete the cut, messed up my line coming down my right side, and missed a lot of hairs on my forehead area. Definitely not worth the $25. I had to come home and fix it myself. I would pay $10 for this barbers work, and thats if Im desperate. Now I need to grow out my right side so I can get it to match my left side. Definitely dont recommend this place to anyone who truly wants to look and feel good. And sorry I cant remember the barbers name, I just remember SnapBack and tattooed neck and sleeves.

Great looking place, greeted right away, I had no appt but I only waited about 15 mins and it looked busy. Barber was very friendly, atmosphere was like walking into the neighborhood gathering where everyone knew each other. Great rock music, great hair products, I cant say enough good things. And I was told I can book online for convenience. Everyone left there with a sharp haircut including me. I will definitely be back. Never have I been to a barbershop like this

Very relaxed environment. The barbers there usually get booked up with appointments so with people saying that they didnt want to take on another haircut, its probably because theyre booked. And yes, theyre on their phones but its such a relaxed environment that you shouldnt be a prick enough to care. This isnt some office job where they shouldnt be on their phones. Like calm the hell down. I recommend jose but everyone is just as great.

Good cut, the other review about the barbers being distracted was true. Mine had to finish a game of nba2k15 before asking me if I was ready. Will give then another shot in a month, if it happens again Ill make sure to update. Haircut was good though, once it started. New update, 7/11/16 ... after my last cut here at$ 25 ( ridiculous for less than a half hour of work ) and waiting for an hour Ive found a new place.

Ive been going to Art of Fadez since 2007. There is no other barber shop like it just copy cats! The owner and barbers are all professional on the way the handle their business. From the minute you walk in you already feel like family, they welcome you with a warm greeting, to the time you walk out you feel satisfied. Ill highly recommend everyone try it out at least once and you wont be disappointed.

I had been driving 35+ miles to the city to get a good haircut for years before I heard of this place, (moved to America from UK) which is around 5 miles away from me. Not only was the place closer and I can go every two weeks but the fades were the bet in Illinois Jose biz is the barber I go to and I wouldnt go to anyone else, he is fantastic and down to earth!

Dont usually leave reviews but Art Of Fadez is one place Ill take my time to talk about I have been going here and only here for about 8 years now and have never been disappointed, Alan is my main barber but the best part about this place is even if my barber is booked I feel 100% confident going to anyone in the shop. Keep up the good work fellas!!

The haircut was great, but I had an appointment and the guy took me in 40 min late because he took someone else to fill in his time before I came during my slot, even though I came in 5 min early. What I really didnt like was that he took his time and was talking to the other barber while I was there and he acknowledged that I was waiting.

I am completely blown away. I have called about 30 places asking if they can cut black mans hair, bald fade, hot towel, straight blade shave, etc... This place has it all. $25 or so for a job done right. You pay for what you get. And the beard game in this place is on point. Save your money chaps and treat yourself! Kpb

nobody seemed like they wanted to work and were on their phones more than they cut hair!!! I watched one barber answer his phone over 15 times during one hair cut!! when I get my haircut, I dont have time to wait for someone to answer their phone over and over. my time is to valuable for this type of treatment!!!!

I came into this shop on a random day looking for a quality haircut. Not only did I receive one but it by far exceeded my expectations. Customer service was great and my barber Biz made it feel as if we where long time friends. He has since been cutting my hair. Thanks Biz. Highly recommended barber.

these guys are great barbers, I dont even ask for someone specific because they are all really good barbers. perfect haircuts, only minor complaint would be that they will answer their phone in the middle of a cut. However it hasnt become an issue with me. try these guys out you wont regret it.

Great service! I dont pick a certain barber because they are all professionals. Booking an appointment is the way to go, and when I do book one, Im in and out! Ive been getting my haircut here for over 5 yrs and will continue too until the day I have NO HAIR!!!

Best place hands down to get fades and mohawks in the suburbs. Very clean and friendly. Everyone there is experienced but I would still recomend the owner to get a cut forgot his name but think hes the first or middle chair from the door.

Great cuts, recommend making an appointment if youre not going earlier in the day. If you go while theyre busy with appointments dont be surprised if they pass you up, it is a business.
