Cookie Cutters is an excellent place to get haircuts for young kids. It is slightly overpriced, but worth it if your kids get frightened or wont sit still. Just before getting the haircut, each child gets to select either a DVD or a video game to keep them occupied during the cut. They also get to choose from a variety of novelty or standard chairs. Although they do haircuts for teenagers and adults, one might find their theme a little young. Basically, if your kids are young enough to appreciate Chuck E. Cheeses, then Cookie Cutters is great. Other notes: Most locations have a play area while you wait. Appointments are available, but they also accept walk-ins. The kids are given lollipops, a helium balloon, and a cookie cutter when they check out. They have punch cards to earn free haircuts.

Horrible experience at Cookie Cutters of Fishers! My son had a scraped face from defective clippers and a bowl haircut when we left. We were charged $15.95 including the "required" tip. We went straight to another salon to fix the awful haircut. We got no balloon, no lollipop, nothing. We had an appointment but had to wait more than 30 minutes. Too, if you want an untrained stylist weilding sharp ended scissors near your childs face.....visit this salon.

Do not go here unless you want your kids hair to be completely messed up!! Boys hair is not that complicated and I usually do it myself somehow we walked out of there with terribly crooked and choppy :bangs" and a crooked shelf (a line of hair not blended) on the back horrible horrible horrible we will not be back for overpriced haircuts by people that obviously have no idea what they are doing.

We have been going here for almost 2 years now and my son loves it! Everyone who has given him a haircut has been able to handle his tantrums when he was younger lol, and they have always been so kind and make me feel comfortable! Plus, they have a cool slide for him to go down after! Our favorite place for hair cuts!

Have been here twice and had two different stylists each time and GREAT experiences for both visits. My 3yr old son is NOT a fan of haircuts but they handle it extremely well and never lose patience. Highly recommended :)

apparently they charge 15 bucks for every twenty minutes of combing out a kids hair. that seems a lil pricy for a kids hair cut. but my son had fun on the slide at least

They stayed late to help us. Im not a big fan of cookie cutters in general, but this location seems to care a bit more than the others and we will gladly go back.
