Specifically sought out this salon because they were affiliated with Aveda. Theyre far from being an Aveda salon and theyre certainly no spa!! This old, dirty run down place is a DUMP!! Its gross inside. I had been there a couple times for services...haircut and color to be exact. Recently, my stylist found a new job and put in her notice. As a single mother myself, I understand moving on to bigger and better things, so whos to blame her. Ive looked for two years for a stylist of her caliber in the area and am happy to follow her on to the new salon. However, this salon, Natural Concepts, called me and told me that shed no longer be with themon the day of my appointment next week. They offered me discounts in order to keep my appointment with one of their "master stylists". I told them Id have to call back when I figured out my schedule. In the meantime, I called from another number and asked for my stylist. She had no idea this was happening... The more I thought about it, the more it bothered me that this business could treat someone this way and still expect me to be a client. So I called the salon and let them know that I thought it was pretty shady the way they were treating her and that Id like to be removed from their contact list, as I would be following her to the new salon. They hung up on me... awesome customer service Stephanie!! Glad Im taking my business elsewhere!!

Ive had my hair colored since I was a teenager. Im 41 now. I went there for a foil and cut and it was the best color and cut I ever received. I love Aveda products. My hair wasnt dry, like it is after a lot of colorings. It was beautiful. The staff was friendly, the salon was clean. I didnt visit the Spa part, but could see theres an area for it in back. I definitely would recommend it. If you need Aveda products, this is the place to go. They have everything and a person like me, who loves them, could go crazy in that store. I noticed another post talked of the condition of the salon being run down and described it as a dump. They have remodeled and its an attractive salon now. I went before the remodel and after, so I know why she said that. Its very nice now so please dont let that review turn you off the place. While Im sure they have great stylists, their new esthetician is horrid. My eyelash are glued to my lid well above my lash like. I have globs of glue, that she said would wash off but have yet to do so. They look like I did them. I should have known something was up when she accidentally glued the under eye patches to my lashes. I have individual extensions and they look like chunks of hair glued onto my lashes. I pay too much money to get these to have them look this bad. People at my work noticed the shoddy lash work. So if you are looking to get your lashes done steer clear of this place!!

I had gone in to fix my bleached hair to darken to my natural color, and wasnt happy after the initial visit. Weeks later, I called to ask what could be done. Jim, the owner was so accomodating and helpful in being willing to fix my concerns in a fair and generous way. I felt such a personal connection and respect from this business the caring people there!

I was expecting an "AVEDA" experience, but came away extremely disappointed. The "spa" was dirty, dated and ran down. The massage therapist talked non-stop and about really inappropriate things. Please do not waste your money going here....the place was horrid & DIRTY!!
