The initial agreement was to start painting in early to mid June. Thanks to a rainy spring/early summer, the project kept getting delayed. Every time I emailed or texted to get an update, they were quick to respond which I appreciated. Finally, we get to July 5th - I happen to take the day off from work. They contacted me a couple hours in advance to say that despite the weather delays, they could at least come over to start the prep work. This included power washing, hand scraping, caulking, and replacing any siding that looked to be in bad shape. Our home is a mix of brick and cedar siding. After 4-5 hours of work, they were finished! There were some minor issues with the siding that were addressed and I didnt see many areas that had been scraped. The most noticeable area was the garage. They caulked some of the areas on the garage door and scraped quite a bit. Upon first glance, I thought "not bad - house looks like it is ready for some new paint!". After further inspection, I began to notice many places that concerned me. First: The front-right corner of the home where the gutter is located. They had to replace some wood due to a bird or some animal that had built a nest years ago...and there was some rotting wood. They did not properly attach the new wood to the home, so now we have gutter and pieces of wood trim just hanging off the home. Next: On the chimney - they replaced some vertical trim boards due to rotting. They didnt cut the boards long enough and there is about an 1/8" gap between the top of the new board and the bottom of the pre-existing board. They caulked the hell out of that gap, but that will just lead to problems later on. Sloppy work. In addition to that, the cut of the board was crooked and slopes away from the home...again - very sloppy work. Moving on to the back of the home: We have cedar siding which butts up against the wood deck. Its messy down in the lower corner where two exterior walls meet up. Some siding needed to be replaced. Rather than replacing an entire board (good for saving money), they just cut what was needed to be replaced. Works for me - until I saw the difference between the new cedar board and old cedar board. I called around and you can find beveled cedar siding with 3/4" thickness on one end...the boards they put on our house barely stick out so it just looks bad when you step back to see the other boards...doesnt match up at all. In addition to that, there is still rotting siding on a vertical piece of wood where the two walls meet up. Terribly inconvenient place but still..they tried covering it up with caulk. I feel like it was dishonest. Be up front with me and tell me its complicated or costly to repair and lets work together on a solution. Its green and mossy on that wood ... the caulk couldnt even hide that. Okay - now looking up to the back of the house: We have an outcrop and on each corner there is clearly rotting wood near the fascia boards/gutter. Wood is simply missing - they didnt even address that. When power washing the home, the trim on the right side of the master bedroom window was completely washed out on the bottom right corner ... and again - not even addressed. When looking at the garage door, the power washing damaged the wood - it is all fuzzy/splintered ... and again .. not even addressed. Im not entirely sure the home was washed 100% and I say that because there is an old wasps nest near the bathroom window upstairs and it was 50% intact after the power washing was complete. Ultimately, we paid them for the work they had completed and decided to hire someone else to do the job right. Im very detail-oriented. Im an engineer .... it takes a lot to sneak something by me.

All-Pro Painting painted the baseboards in our home after having carpet installed and did a great job. All work was done well within the requested time and everything looks like new. They even took the time to touch up a few rough spots we hadnt even mentioned, going above and beyond. The pricing was very competitive and the workmanship was unmatched. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone with an upcoming painting project. Very professional and courteous. Thanks to Greg and company.
