I really have to get this off my chest because Im so unsatisfied by my experience. Looks like you either love or hate this place. It was a hate for me. I went years ago with excellent service but it seemed like every stylist there is different than when I went (totally fine and as to be expected) I just assumed it would still be a good place to go so I called asking if they do olaplex and was told yes!! Then to find out they do not once Im sitting in the chair and this stylist has already started and in fact the ones in charge had them switch to something else and regardless I should have been told up front because I might have still scheduled, but to be told something untrue is inexcusable. So that was the first uncomfortable sign to me. I wanted white blond hair and got ash, my hair is light blonde naturally already and years ago I had had the white blond I set out to get today, so knew exactly what I wanted I showed pictures (so it was clear) this "stylist" just acted like she knew what I wanted more than I did which I have absolutely no patience for and as a result it was not bright enough, I wanted an extreme since Im already a blonde; it looks too close to my natural color and at the time I got the white blonde my hair was the same color as it was today so there was no difference there for an issue. I almost didnt notice how much of a lack of a change it is because she almost had me get up before she was finished blow drying. I ended up being charged about double even tho I asked in advance how much extra and so on with the "olaplex". I had to run errands after when this person kept scrunching my hair and it was hard and frizzy so I was annoyed all day. Her hair looked so nice and smooth and mine wasnt smooth whatsoever because she wanted to keep randomly scrunching even when I said that wasnt necessary; if someone stops you and says you dont have to do that I dont do that to dry my hair, obviously you respect that and stop. Maybe with honesty and being up front about their products, I would have had more grace even if the color wasnt exact in the end but still I think thats a sign someone shouldnt be so over confident. I am so disgusted and will never try them again.

I had gone to this place in the past & had good experiences with one of their stylists. She changed salons though & it was hard booking appointments with her anymore. I decided to book another appointment with this salon since they claim to have "#1" awards from recent years. I called this salon to ask (and added that I know it was late) & see if they had an appointment available for the following day (as its rare when I can actually book for haircuts in longer advance since my schedule is so unpredictable). At first it seemed like it was going to be NO, but then one of their stylists said they could take me at a certain time depending on how short my hair already was. So I was reassured about this set time & I drove across town the next day just to get this hair cut. The receptionist looks at me confused & says Im not in the system...kind of with a look of "are you lying?" toward me. They eventually see my name & number are in the system, but not assigned to anyone. They made me sit around for 10 minutes trying to find ANYone to cut my hair, which only came to a stylist asking me to rebook because she needs to go on her break. Apparently the original person I MAY have had my appointment with already had someone else at the same time as mine...When they told me yesterday she was fitting ME in at that time. Then they referred to my hair appointment as just needing a "trim", to try to convince other stylists into cutting my hair. It wasnt a trim, I needed a full on hair cut into a different style. Their comments & disorganization made me uncomfortable so I left. I am never going back there again. Im very disappointed in their service.

Posh Salon is the ONLY place I go for my hair. Taylor is amazing at what she does, she always considers the health of your hair and is honest about whether or not your hair expectations can be achieved in one or multiple appointments. Shes the only one Ive ever gone to on a regular basis for touch-ups, trims, or big changes because I can trust her. The health of my hair has done a complete 180 since my first appointment with her. She is also fantastic with my daughters long, thick hair. My husband gets his hair and beard trimmed and styled by Derrick, who is also amazing! Kierstan is fabulous with Novalash and has given me great skincare advice with their dermalogica products (pricey but worth every penny) which has cleared up my aging, acne prone skin. They are always polite, always smiling, and they genuinely love what they do. You can walk out of the salon with confidence and feeling better about yourself than when you first arrived. I could never stand how other salons would chastise clients about their hair care and gossip about everybody the entire time. Posh does NOT behave that way. Theyre #1 in Kokomo for a reason! You just have to be patient with booking an appointment because theyre always full, and be considerate of making sure your appointment time slot can accommodate what youre asking for because some techniques take longer than others. That only proves how good they are, this is NOT an assembly line style, chain salon with botched clients from a rushed cut/color.

At first the stylist was friendly but a bit of a show off, after she completely ruined my hair color she ignored me and left me with the so called apprentice. The owner even asked if I used box color ! NEVER! She was looking for an excuse for ruining my hair. When I called for a return fix on my hair they avoided me and would not call back. Finally when I got a hold of a stylist they made up an excuse for the owner and offered to put a color corrector on and had the nerve to charge me! It is all about the money not the ability or skill. That was the color the cut I am still trying to grow out.

At this point, Lisa Anderson is the only stylist I trust to cut my hair. I’ve lived in Chicago & Tokyo and gone to some wonderful places but Lisa is far and away the best. There’s a certain level you can only reach with years of experience and a good education. I’ve been going to Lisa for years and she’s attended training in New York & Chicago several times. After you see her artistry with color you’ll never go back to a bottle at home. Lisa is also a genuinely kind and fun person to talk with.

I had an awesome experience!! I just moved into town and was highly recommended by many different people to try out Posh. Everyone greeted me with a smile and they were all super friendly. The stylist was very thorough about making sure she knew what I wanted ( I was nervous about making a big change)...but I absolutely love my hair. I even decided to get highlights for the first time and they turned out amazing. Thank you everyone at Posh, especially Kylee for making me look great!
