I was referred to this dealer by the Chevrolet dealership in Shelbyville, IN. My work truck broke down (transmission failure) and I was towed to the location. I was told I would be called with an estimated price for either a rebuild or a remanufactured transmission. I was called the following day and told it would be cheaper for a remanufactured trans rather than to rebuild, and with a price of $3000 to do so!!! I told them I needed to make a few calls and Id call them back. Jacks Auto Repair said he could rebuild for $1400 complete. I called Chevy and told them I would have a tow truck come get the truck (Friday afternoon) on Monday and was told that I need to pay whats owed first, THE TRANSMISSION HAD BEEN REMOVED!!! When I called Monday morning I was told I owed $300 for removing the transmission. I explained that I did not authorize its removal but I need my truck for work, so I paid it. The following day Jacks Auto Repair called me and told me that they had the truck but NO TRANSMISSION!!! I then had to go and get the transmission, in pieces (IT WAS ALSO DISASSEMBLED!), myself. I also specified that I MUST have ALL parts, brackets and hardware. The service manager let me back into the garage bay and pointed me to the pile of parts on the floor which I loaded myself into my vehicle after he indifferently walked away. Jacks Auto called me a couple of days later stating they were missing parts and were going to Indianapolis to get them, further delaying my work vehicle. This has been an unnecessarily arduous process which has forever turned me against Chevrolet and perhaps all dealership service.

To put this review in perspective, I have purchased a total of 22 vehicles; 13 of those from a dealership. Those purchases were made in 5 different states and two different countries. In all those locations and purchases, I have NEVER had the excellent service that I received at Hubler in Rushville, IN from Chris Cole and Jamie the sales manager. I had a very specific budget and my situation required some further negotiating on both sides. I was told by every Chevrolet dealer withing 150 miles of Indianapolis that it was "impossible", or I wasnt even called back. None of those dealers were helpful or even tried to help. Not only did Chris and Jamie make it possible, they exceeded my familys expectations and got us into the truck we really wanted for a price we could afford. They were friendly, courteous to my wife (that goes a long way), and never condescending. The stereotypical "car dealer" that everyone fears is exactly the opposite of what I got at Hubler. The service and attitude of this dealer sets them apart from the rest of Indiana Chevrolet Dealers. I cannot say enough nice things about my experience here. If you are in the market for a car, you NEED to talk to Chris Cole at Hubler. You will not regret it. Thank you Jamie and Chris for the amazing 2015 Silverado Z71!!! We love it!!

This dealership is terrible. We recently test drove a truck and were told they "fixed" a part on it, but that everything was ok. After driving the truck, we took it on an overnight test and the minute we got home with it and got underneath it, realized we had been completely lied to! They replaced something completely different than they told us, the truck ( its a diesel) was blowing blue smoke out the tail pipe. The salesman called several times on the overnight to seal the deal over the phone. We ended up taking the truck to a performance diesel shop, they told us $4200 minimum to fix it!!!! When we took the truck back the salesman argued that diesels were supposed to do that and he had several other buyers lined up for this truck!!! We asked for the sales manager and he told us the same thing!!! Do not ever purchase vehicles from this dealership. They lied to us several times, told us the customer we were wrong, and had the nerve after we left to call and try to get us to buy something else!!!! Buyer beware!!!! The truck wouldve lasted approx 2 weeks before the engine was blown!!!

I was looking for a Chevy Volt and they had it. They were in constant contact to find me the vehicle I was looking for. We came to terms on price and other items to be delivered. As of now the promised items on the "We Owe" have not been delivered. Keep in mind the car was purchased on December 30, 2015. Ive contacted them a few times regarding the "We Owe" as of yet no one from the dealership has returned my calls to tell after almost 3 months that they dropped the ball and that they would fulfill their part on the "We Owe". A little courtesy goes a long way, if you can spend that much effort calling me to get me in to buy the car Id hope that you could spend as much time following up to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. A very poor way to do business. It used to be a mans word could be secured by a handshake. Now even if it is in writing that doesnt seem to be good enough.

I bought a new Chevy Cruz late last year and had excellent service and help with the purchase of the vehicle. They even helped out with the price....to what I could pay monthly, it was an excellent car. Then I was in a wreck and totaled the car. Since then I moved to Illinois and looked around but the people could not meet my needs. I called Chris Mclaughlin that helped me purchase my Chevy Cruz. Told him exactly what I needed, he found a few I looked on line to see them. Then after finding the perfect car that met my price I had my father who resides in Rushville test drive it. All the paperwork complete and my father brought me the car. All happened in one week and will always go back for both the service and the people. Thank you for making my experience have absolutely no hassle!!! Sincerely, Katie Blair Baker

Mr. Dan Griffee of Hubler Automotive Center, Rushville, Indiana gave me over and above excellent service yesterday 12/28/12. I was looking to buy a new vehicle and was pretty nervous/anxious about it. (This is the first really NEW car I have ever purchased). I had let Dan know what I was looking for (make, model, features and price range, etc.) a week or two ago and said I would visit the dealership on 12/28/12. Dan had the perfect vehicle ready for me to test drive. He went over all of the features and, most of all, gave me several options regarding the pricing/payment plans, and answered the many questions I had. If I ever need to car shop again, I will be asking for Dan to look after me. Rushville Hubler also provides top notch aftercare for all of their customers. Thank you Dan for making my experience worry free.

I bought a RX-8 from this dealer and it was and has been the worst experience of my life, and is still effecting me to this day. They knowingly sold me a lemon beyond all lemons.Refused to return my old car and instead after being told by higher up management, sold it and sent the new owners to my private home to pick up the spare tires and key and gave them my person private number. Then messed me over at every turn, charged me for things the car was said to already have had done.I owned the car for 6 months and it was in the shop so much and not drive able but for less then a month of that ownership.I recommend you do not go to Hubler period, not any of their location are any good. You might as well buy a car from a junk yard.
