Fastest turn over rate I have Ever seen.... number one.. Everytime you go in there you have to talk to someone new other than steve, if hes even there. Now the reason why I would never ever take any of my cars there were because both times I have ever had them do transmission work I had to return to the shop to have them again FIX my trucks... Now the first truck I had them work on they said that because of the way that the transmission broke that i must of been abusing the truck and they wouldnt stand behind there warranty. So i had to pay more money to fix something that they just fixed. O, and that abusing i was doing was driving down the interstate, and wasnt pulling a trailer....Number two truck, statred on my first trip back to them because the WAY OVER Filled my transmission and it was leaking out the vent tube on to my cats causing an awful smell that about never went away.. Then i had to return again when one day the truck wouldnt go into reverse! now i was only 100 miles over the warranty and steve wouldnt help me out.. nice steve... way to stick it to the man and get more money outta me... well i didnt pay to have that fixed i ended up taking my truck to "D and M Transmission" Where they help fix what STEVEs shop did and gave me 50% off and gave me a warranty for the transmission.... Glad to no that theres still good people out there... I will never tell anyone to ever go there, they dont stand behind there half @$$ jobs that they do... Get this horror story, they picked my buddys truck up off the ground with one of there so called safe lifts and smashed the top of the truck in on the top of the lift.. It put a huge dent in the top of his truck that was a huge deal and repair. I also agree with one of the other post, getting them to call me back was a pain!!! No one ever new what was going on when I called up there either....

Dont trust the owner Steve! My Jetta had transmission problems, so I contacted Certified to get an estimate. Was told that they would have to drop the transmission to give an estimate, so I had my car towed there. After that I was told that it needed a new or rebuilt transmission around $5000. Not being in my budget, I asked them if I could look for a used one and have them install it. This part is nearly impossible to find, but I had regular contact with Paul (who was very nice and understanding) and there was no indication from him that there was an issue. Then, out of the blue, I received a certified letter stating that I would be charged a $25/day storage fee. I called to resolve this issue, but I was told that Steve, the owner, was too busy to return my call. After calling again the next day with no response, I went there to talk to Steve, but he was still too "busy" to talk to me. I got the bill which included charges for diagnosing a coolant leak, which I did not authorize. There reason for the storage fee was that there was a sign in their shop, which I had never been to, stating that storage fees would accrue 3 days after work was completed, which it had not been. With numerous phone exchanges, why was I never notified of this policy or asked to get my car(Which I would gladly have done)? It was totally unprofessional for Steve, the owner, to be too "busy" to speak with me and to put his employees in charge of dealing with a difficult situation caused by his poor business decisions. Avoid Certified Transmission at all cost!!!

The service is excellent. They really try to make it convenient for you to drop off your vehicle. For other mothers with babies, please note that there is a comfortable-looking nursing chair in the womens rest room. I also like that there are places that are walkable to with a stroller if you have small children (I usually take mine to South Oldham County library if my auto repair is expected to take under an hour). Or if I know it will be quite a long repair, it helps to know that the car can be dropped off after hours the night before, using the key drop, that way I can get my husband to help me bring my car in after his work finishes. Also, pricing is very reasonable and they dont try to sell you stuff that you dont need. They are knowledgeable and great at answering any questions about your car. They have fast, friendly, honest service and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called this shop to get an estimate for service, I knew exactly what part needed to be replaced but simply didnt want to do the work myself. I specified what needed to be replaced to them when I called. The man I spoke with refused to give me a quote and insisted that I bring the car to them for inspection before they could tell me the cost. Not sure what kind of poor operation these people run where if I specify "How much to replace X part on this year, make, and model car?" requires them to do an inspection. Would not trust a place like this with my car, I am mechanically savvy and just wanted to save myself the time of doing it myself. Will be telling my friends to avoid this shop if they ever need any work done on their cars in the future.

Since moving to Crestwood in 2005, I have taken all my vehicles, domestic and foreign, to Steve for service. Never once have I felt that I had received a substandard level of repair or warranty work. People seem to forget that as your car gets older with more miles, you cant bring it in for work with rust and bailing wire holding it together and not have Steves mechanics recommend getting the laundry list of stuff fixed. If you drive an older car, it needs more maintenance. Not sure why that is so difficult to understand for some folks.

Staff told me three times that my truck would be ready the next day...a week and a half later it was finally finished. Seems a long time to replace a clutch. I wont go there again!

TPMS light was on, found two sensors faulty, both replaced the same day for a fair price.
