In the past year that our son has been at HCD we have not only seen a vast improvement in his intellectual abilities but also with his social skills ,his behavior and his faith in God. Jordan was and is in no way a “problem child”; but one of our fears from transitioning from an in-home daycare to a “facility” was that he would become a “number”. We were afraid that the staff would change frequently and that we would have no idea what his day to day activities. We found out very quickly that HCD is NOT your typical daycare. They truly are a family. Each and every staff member knows my child, and knows my name when I walk through the door. There truly is a sense of stability. I tell everyone I know about HCD. Not only do they care about the children, they care about the families as well and will go to great lengths to help out whenever possible. Jordan loves all of his teachers- he is constantly talking about how much fun he has at “school”. The daily lessons are faith based and are presented in a way that Jordan can remember what he has learned from day to day. I absolutely LOVE the real world application of bible stories and Christ’s teachings. He loves to pray, and he loves to help others because “that is what Jesus teaches us to do”. How many 3 year olds do you know that UNDERSTAND faith? It truly amazes me. We were extremely lucky to find HCD and there is NO doubt in my mind that this is the best and most nurturing environment available for him.

The staff at HCD is amazing! They appreciate all kids individuality and take the time to talk with the parents when needed. Every time I wanted to talk about something the office staff would stop what they were doing and give you their full attention. We are moving and I am very sad to leave the daycare. They have a very stable staff, which was important to me as Ive experience high turnover in other daycares. I have experience with 2 other daycares in town and HCD has been by far the best. I will miss them all dearly.

Harvest Christian Daycare is the best daycare in town! They teach Bible-based lessons along with learning activities. They offered a structured learning environment that also offers time for creativity. They do music, art, and life skills every day. HCD creates a warm, loving environment that encourages children to grow spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. I wouldnt want my children anywhere else!

HCD is not just a daycare. They are a family! They love my daughter like their own, and I was comforted every day going to work knowing she was in the best care. We would have never left had it not been for us recently moving out of state. I would recommend HCD to anyone!

This entire facility, from the staff, to the classrooms are amazing. Communication is the hardest part of having kids in daycare, and HCD does an amazing job. We would still be there if we didnt move to Marion. My son loved it so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
