I just returned from a negative experience at this particular salon and wanted to make sure others would be spared. While she was organized and punctual, her lack of personality more than negated those positive qualities. She was very curt, bordering on rude. She was also very rough so if you have a tender head, watch out! She used a paddle brush and dryer to dry my hair and was brushing so hard she nearly took the earring out of my right ear. She also did not inform me of the price of her service until I was paying. It was listed no where on her webpage and I feel it rude to inform clients of prices as they check out. Further, while I am new to this area and am not sure what the rate for relaxers are here, I feel $80 for that kind of service is far too much. I will not be going back to her again.

She started on time. Shes experienced. I saw her doing both a black and a white ladys hair when I walked in, so she can clearly do several different hair types. Im black, with thick natural about four inches below my shoulders. I dont take great care of it, but it still manages to naturally form a tight curly afro. Normally I wait until Im in a big city to get it done (and still wind up terrifying the hairdressers). She was able to get my hair satisfyingly straight in record time, without relaxing it. What else is there to say? Im really disappointed I hadnt heard of this place sooner.

Fantastic experience. I was able to get in right away with appointment. Cheryl is very good at diagnosing the cut and products that work best for my thick and curly hair. She listened to what I wanted to accomplish, was frank with me about what is and isnt possible with my kind of hair and provided an excellent cut. I would recommend her to anyone.

She has cut my sons hair since the first time and has always been amazing. She has an amazing ability to move with him if he fidgets and he loves to go see her. Cheryl is very nice.
