Mitchell Family Funeral home was in charge of my mothers funeral in February of 2011. They treated my mother with dignity and our family with compassion. My mother chose this funeral home and made her plans per her wishes prior to her death. They sent Mr. Mike Kirk to my parents home to speak to my mom and she "shopped" for her casket, flowers and what she wanted done. She thoroughly enjoyed what most think of as a morbid task mainly because of Mr. Kirk who my mom came to think of as her friend. As moms condition worsened and she required nursing home care hed stop in to see her just to say hello and share a kind word and joke with her. After moms passing this same gentleman cared for my family as it if was his own. He gave us hugs when we needed them. Smiles too. I cant say enough good things about the service provided by this funeral home and Mr. Mike Kirk. We are forever grateful.

Mitchell family funeral home recently took care of our family when our father passed away suddenly. I cannot say enough good things about them. Mike was such a comfort to my mother. They took an extremely difficult task and thought of everything, communicated with all of us over the next few days between his death and the service, and helped us with his out of town burial. Words cannot express how appreciative our family is for the kindness and professionalism that Mitchell Family Funeral Home demonstrated to us.
