Cheese Burger

Will steal your things. Iowa Code 578A states that a person has 90 days to satisfy a lien for non payment. Their contract states they have the right to consider your unit "abandoned" if there is no lock on your unit for 5 days. I was 3 days late as I was in the process of moving, made my payment, opened up the unit and everything was gone. I asked where all of my stuff was and their response was "There was no lock on your unit for 5 days, so all of your stuff was considered abandoned" - I asked for footage of my lock being cut off by an unknown person and they said they wouldnt release that footage unless I sued them. I threatened to sue, and then all of a sudden the footage "disappeared." If you cant read between the lines, they cut my lock off and took my things because I was 3 days late on a monthly payment. We moved to Denver, and my kids photos were gone, their beds gone, their toys gone, most of my clothing, a 200 year old table that had been in my family for several generations when they first came to America from England, gone. Ironically, that same table popped up for sale at an auction at the Muscatine Mall and a friend paid to get it back for me.

In my experience, Plaza is a great storage facility. The cameras and security gate make me feel safe and know the units are protected. The staff is especially helpful, giving you a tour and all the information you would need.
