I had a new motor put in my Buick. They quoted me a price with new water pump, belt and hoses for an extra $400. I had no issues and asked if that was all the hoses cause I dont want 100k mile hoses on a brand new motor. I ended up having to go back because upper radiator hose, both heating hoses were never changed. They also left my dust cover for my motor off as well. I went back and asked why they didnt change all the hoses. Jon told me yeah we did. As I open the hood and proceeded to show him the hoses he said hold on and disappered until Dave showed up. Dave looked at the hoses and as he went to say they are fine. I told him regardless if they are bad I paid for you to put them on and I want what I paid for. Dave was not happy that I checked his work. Well three out of the for where replaced. As I went there this morning and inquired about the one that they didnt replace, it rand to the reservoir for the coolent. They both where extremely rude with me. I showed him the hoses and asked that hose goes to the motor doesnt it? Dave said that is not included its not part of the motor and we arent putting one on. It only covered the upper, lower radiator, hoses heater hoses and power steering hose and not the reservoir hose. I then asked why I had not had them installed in the first place. Dave said they didnt have them in stock that day. Now I use to be a service writer. There are four parts store in this town and you couldnt find common hoses? Let be real, they were hoping I didnt know anything. Well guess again. Ill never take anything back there. Its on them someone else will get to take care of my vehicle. Double check there work is recommended.
