I have used this location a few times for oil changes and tire rotations. Each visit has been excellent. A couple of times l left and went back to work and they called when the car was finished as promised. Today I visited because Im in the process of moving to another state and just wanted my tires checked before an 1,100 mile drive. Didnt need any other services (oil change, etc). George the attendant working the desk personally checked my tires and took me out to my car when finished to show me a nick on the side of one tire. I explained I will be trading the car once I move for a vehicle that will be better for winter climate. He didnt try to scare me or push a tire on me and checked my spare as well to make sure I"m all set. He of course could make no promise about the nick but did want to make sure I knew in case. I decided to forego buying a tire and then asked how much. He told me nothing. He didnt charge me anything. And wouldnt accept a tip. My payment is to say how great the service has always been at this location and I highly recommend. Thank you George - you are a kind person. And Im appreciative.

Firestone Auto Care at Cortana provides the worst mechanical service in Baton Rouge. The technicians that are employed there along with the management that oversees the technicians have a very lackadaisical attitude towards customer service in honesty I would highly suggest never bringing your automobile to get mechanical work performed on the vehicle at Firestone by Cortana. They will not deliver on the service they guarantee you when dropping off your vehicle. Furthermore if you have any questions on why I feel so strongly about the statement I made please message me and I will give you the whole story but for now if you do not have questions just take my word on it. Do not go to Firestone Auto Care by Cortana Mall ever for anything a drink of water, to use the facilities, or to even sightsee never never never never go there.

Brought my car in for squeaking brakes, also mentioned a strange gurgling sound coming from behind the dash. Paid $10.89 for inspection (regularly $21.99). Chris Horner called me and explained everything he found when looking at the car. He didnt overstate the seriousness of having my rotors resurfaced... and I ended up not having it done. I decided to do some of the work myself (replacing a belt), and Chris was very forward with tips on how to do it. I appreciate their lack of pressure and felt like I was being shot straight the whole time.

I went in hoping they had time to do an oil change but expecting to be told is have to wait hours. Instead, they said they could do it right away. From start to finish, it was less than 20 minutes. The waiting area was roomy and clean. It was much nicer than most of the "5 minute" oil change places Ive used. I was completely impressed with the service, the cleanliness and the efficiency of which they helped me. I would highly recommend and will certainly be back.

I dont know who gives these guys a good rating but I can tell you, we have brought our cars here a few times. Once they kept it for a week for an AC problem and then proceeded to tell us a week later it was a dealer part. Amazing, it took you a week to figure that out. Then a week later the car overheated, most likely from their crap service. I can not recommend this place at all.

Luckily, the expertise of Kevin Ford at this location is second to none! I was 2/3 way into a 800 mile journey when the engine/oil light came on. Kevin had the advice and more than enough help to allow me to write this from my house rather than being on the side of the road! I will certainly be a return customer due to the level of expertise I experienced at this location.

Attendant came up with a laundry list of reason he couldnt fix my flat---from type of rim, age of tire, type of valve stem etc. However, he said he could sell me a new tire but company policy doesnt allow them to work on tires that are 5 years old. Hey Einstein, depending on how much you drive each year a set of tires can last 5 years. wont be back.

Went for an oil change that took forever. Also never told price beforehand. I could have demanded it but this was a test run to see if I will come back. I wont. Cheaper and faster services available. May as well go to your car dealership if youre going here.

I had a great experience getting new tires here. Chris was very fair and proactive about information. I would bring my car here for any problems. I am confident they would do a good job and price it reasonably.

Had appointment for 8, car wasnt pulled in for oil change until 9:15! Asked the service advisor and he acts like its no big deal and Im bothering him. Never coming back here!
