Took the car in to check on a problem with blinker lights/electrical. They fixed that timely, by finding out my trailer wiring T-Connector was causing the problem, so I just had the tech disconnect it for now. When I got home and did a walk-around, I noticed my blinker bulb was not in the socket or housing. Since I wanted to drive to work the next morning, I had to dig into the car myself to find out that the tech decided not to put the bulb back in place. I think I understand why, because it is a major pain in the butt to get at, and took me way too long (after a long day of work myself) to monkey it back in to the socket and housing properly. After talking about the problem with them the following day, they decided I should have drove it back to them (45 minutes from my place without a turn signal) to have it fixed. I erred on the side of caution and decided that driving without a blinker probably wouldnt be the safest driving experience, nor did I want to risk getting pulled over for not using a turn signal. They were convinced that the tech never touched the bulb and it must have mysteriously popped out of the housing and socket on the drive home. (After seeing how hard it was to get in, these things dont just bounce out...) They couldnt work out a deal and maybe knock off some of the small cost of the simple initial repair. It is really too bad, its not even about the money in this case, more so that they couldnt fess up to what they did or didnt do. They seem to do fine work looking at the other posts, but they sure messed up my day.

I brought my 04 wrx into the shop with a cracked cv boot and asked that they do an inspection on the vehicle as well while they were under the car. I got a call from Marisa with their recommendations and pricing estimates on everything. I came by the office to talk over the recommendations and Jay and Nick both took time to jack my car up and not only show me what was wrong under the car but explain it all to my satisfaction. They were not pushy about any of the repairs and did an excellent job of prioritizing the items on the list. I felt very comfortable the entire time I was there. The work was done when they said it was going to be done and for exactly what they quoted. I just moved to Mukwonago and I will definitely be using J & N for all my vehicle repair needs.

very honest shop. have had a few repairs done there. i had them check out a potential problem once and they spent an hour checking it out and didnt even charge me a dime. for any actual repairs done, i always fact & price check estimates with a family member i trust (has done a lot of auto work), and village car care is always right on or sometimes below what would be expected price wise. 5/5 stars.

Ignore these bad reviews. Ive taken vehicles here for 15 years. Village Care Care is extremely honest. They will tell you if it doesnt need to be done. They can do things your dealer will tell you "only they can do". Their prices are very reasonable. Its a family run place, and Ive never had a job that took more than one day to do. Very poor service the owner Roy is very rude and dishonest he has tried ripping off several people i know, I will never send anyone thier, definetly find another shop in mukwonago if you want good friendly service.
