I had heard a lot of great things about Cambridge Market and Cafe. First, the inside of the Cafe was hot, and it was disheveled. It appeared to be dirty. I ordered a vegetable plate and a dessert to go. The food was over salted to the point it was not edible. It was also over priced. I had 3 vegetables, a dessert and a drink for $12. When I arrived at my destination, and opened my container, the greenbeans looked like they had been soaking on some "brown" sauce. It tasted salty like soy sauce. It just was not good at all. I threw away 3/4s of the meal. I would not suggest it at all. I am giving it two stars because the broccoli casserole was decent. My advice, go somewhere else.

Placed an order through fax. Called an hour later to see where order was at. Said they never received it (have confirmation showing they did) This has happened 2 times before. First time they didnt turn on their fax. So placed order over the phone, after calling 6 times for someone to pick up. Then was told there was a $10.00 delivery fee. Are you serious. Will not mess with Cambridge again. Very BAD.

Cambridge markets themselves as a deli, however I believe that they are best known as a meat and two/three kinds of local restaurant. I love that I can buy an entire loaf of the sourdough bread and a pound of their delicious chicken salad to-go! They also have a wonderful white bean soup, and Mikes moms recipes are used for many of their dishes. This is local at its best!

I would never recommend this place. The majority of people leaving reviews are workers or friends of the owner. They cuss and treat their employees like crap! A lot of their dishes are not homemade. They overprice everything and the owner is the cheapest man Ive ever met in my life. Very selfish people and I will not be back after seeing how they treat their employees!!!!

We were passing through BG on a trip and made a stop here. Six of us in the vehicle so we ordered a wide selection of items and shared. I can honestly say everything was good. The deserts were incredible. The "corn bread" was delicious. I will definitely be stopping in next time I am through BG.
