Went here for my wifes birthday. The atmosphere can be best described as a sort of juvenile chic. Like if teenagers decided to open up their interpretation of fine dining - which matches the area. The food is very good, although I was a little surprised that my $50 meal was made by someone in a T-shirt. Its fun to interact directly with the chefs - who customized each dish to our personal tastes. Its a lot like a hibachi grill; although more typical seating is an option. The chiefs are overflowing with personality, which is great! As long as it is what you are expecting. Id personally rather go to Texas de Brazil or Etch again, where Id pay less for food almost as good, or better, while spending several dollars less for an environment more in line with the expectations of traditional fine dining.

Easy Anderson

Amazingly good food. Went for the Brunch and was impressed which takes a lot. :) I watched as they made the food right in front of me. Coffee crusted tenderloin was superb. The French Toast Creme Brulee was heavenly. As Chris the owner explained to me, they change the menu constantly and if you dont see something on the menu that you like and they have the ingredients, they will make it for you. How cool is that? I hesitated a little bit about writing this, because I dont want the place to be so mobbed that I cant get back in LOL. But do yourself a favor and check this place out if you can appreciate great food. The service is outstanding and everyone there is very nice.

East Ivy Mansion

The Chef and I are one of the preferred caterers for the Historic East Ivy Mansion. Their food presentation is excellent, and the taste is incredible. Our guests were very pleased. If you live in South Nashville stop by and pay them a visit at their restaurant, and for your next event, remember the Chef and I for you catering needs.
