I started taking lessons at Premiere about 2 years ago, on a whim. I had not danced before. I needed a fun, new challenge and that’s exactly what I found there. Premiere offers a variety of classes for children and adults. They offer classes for students at all levels and modify instruction as needed. In the last 2 years, Ive taken jazz, contemporary, tap, ballet, pointe, Latin and most recently capoeira. Each of these was well taught and I walked away feeling like a better dancer. The instructors strike the perfect balance between being involved and hands-off during classes. They give great feedback and make sure dancers get the most out of their classes. Rebecca, the owner, is absolutely the amazing. She is friendly, easy going, and has a way of making people right at home. Since dancing at Premiere, I have not only become more active, I have also lost weight, gained skills and made lots of new connections. I highly recommend giving Premiere a chance.

I build solar-powered cars for fun, but dancing is a big challenge for me. Ive taken a few ballroom classes from Rebecca at Premiere, and was surprised at how easy she made it to get started. Im used to "dumbing down" technical electronic details when talking to non-engineers, but Rebecca has found a way to "dumb down" complicated dance steps for novice dancers like me! I highly recommend Premieres group ballroom classes to anyone who is curious about dancing, especially because the Downtown Lexington location is within walking distance of UKs Campus. I also attended the showcase, and enjoyed the performance by several more experienced dancers.

My seven year old daughter had taken one dance class before and she didnt finish that one because it was just not working -- too many students and too much mahem. However, we decided to try again in the Dazzling Dancers at Premiere and it has been great. The small class size makes for a great teacher to student ratio and really allows for individualized attention. Ms. Rebecca is great at keeping the girls focused and keeping it fun. My daughter is learning a lot, becoming more coordinated and self confident, and enjoying herself.

I have taken ballroom classes at Premiere Dance and have enjoyed the inviting and fun atmosphere Premiere Dance offers. I would usually feel out of my comfort zone walking into a dance class having no dance experience in the past. While taking classes at the studio I quickly gained the knowledge and confidence to participate in multiple genres of dance. I felt welcome and comfortable and felt the instructor adjusted the class according to the needs of the different levels of the students.

Ballroom at Premiere Dance is a Blast!!! The instructor, Rebecca, does an amazing job at making new comers feel welcomed. She is an amazing teacher and she makes you feel like youre her only student, even in a room full of students. Ballroom with Rebecca has become the highlight of my week. Rebecca is extremely personable and her friendly, joyful personality makes learning the moves a breeze! Premiere Dance made this new-by feel like a seasoned Dancer! I highly recommend Premiere Dance!

Ive been dancing my whole life, but had never learned "ballroom" dances until my experience at Premiere Dance. It was great because it was challenging, but not stressful - a great balance of learning and fun! I feel like Ive learned a lot in just a few months! I think its wonderful that a studio can adjust lessons to fit students with all different backgrounds - ranging from very experienced, to someone who hasnt stepped on a dance floor. Overall, a great experience.

I took a class with Rebecca as a gift. I am usually an optimistic guy...but I was pessimistic on my ability to learn how to dance. At first I was hesitant but I realized the power of a good instructor. Within 1hr I was quite shocked that I did a routine to music... and was left smiling about my new moves. I highly recommend taking classes to anyone who might be a tad uncomfortable about dancing. The instructor Rebecca will definitely make you feel at ease.

Ive taken dance classes at a variety of places, but Premiere Dance offers something unique. The owner and primary instructer, Rebecca, is truly one-of-a-kind. Her smaller group classes (and the option of private classes) allows for a more personalized class. She creates a friendly atmosphere- I look forward to the time I spend at awesome inc. Her part-time dance instructors are experienced and a joy to be around. Two thumbs way up!

Our 3 year old daughter took several classes over the summer with Premiere Dance and loved it. She loves to dance at home all the time now and I believe it was because of the love that was instilled in her by the instructor (Miss Rebecca). Highly recommended!
