A friend of mine convinced me to try belly dancing at this studio, and after one class I was hooked. They offer a variety of courses, including technique classes to learn how to do the moves like a pro, choreography classes to learn dances to all kinds of music (from Western pop music to traditional Egyptian and everything in between), and "walk in and work out" classes for those who just want to have fun and get fit. Way better than the gym. The class size is usually perfect--big enough to meet people and make friends, but small enough that you can have your space and get the feedback you need. Each instructor has her own unique style and personality. I love the women-only environment--you can show off your curves and your moves in a positive, friendly, and supportive environment. Im constantly "recruiting" friends to come, and everyone thats joined me has loved it!

Starting out with classical belly dance, one can then broaden her horizon with Fusion in the Zoe and Rachel Brice style (The Indigo) and others, or experiment with Bollywood - Bhangra or Polynesian style dancing such as Tahitian or Hawaiian Hula - as Shenez says Its all good . I can highly recommend the supplemental classes such as Technique 1 and 2, or the Technique for props class called Propology, where one learns to use props for belly dancing such as sword, veil, zills, cane, wings, fan veils, ... you name it, they have a workshop or course for it. If loosing the belly is your focus, and working out in an all female environment without the machines and weights of a gym appeals to you, then try the pay as you go belly dance workout classes or the bootcamp course. Drilling basic moves, one gets quite a workout.

I attended my first walk-in work out class with Nazeem Allayl Belly Dance studios a year ago and now I am hooked! If you are looking for a wonderful alternative to regular gym workouts then belly dancing is definitely the way to go. This studio offers technique and choreography courses, as well as walk in work out classes. All of the teachers are very friendly and the environment is very positive.

I really love this studio. Marwas shimmy fit classes are must-take!! She never allows you to stop working out during the whole an hour class. It is super fun and her movements are so funny so that I hear lots of laughs from other students. If you havent tried it yet, you should do it ASAP! I feel like I got nicer curves thanks to her:)

I absolutely love this studio. There are a variety of classes to choose from for beginners to experts. All of the instructors are very helpful, the music makes your body move involuntarily and it is a comfortable environment for women. ~SoJo
