Inconsistent Service I went to this salon based on Google Reviews and my initial experience was overall positive. LeAnn did my cut and color and I was satisfied with it overall. I was looking for a tad darker and a few highlights that didnt get done but it was a very good cut and a great consultation. However, on my most recent appointment LeAnn wasnt available so Sabrina was recommended. I assumed that the owner of the salon hires stylists meeting some sort of criteria to ensure it reflects positively on their business. This was not the case resulting in the worst cut I have ever received. In fact, I feel secure in saying that I could have taken a pair of scissors, and by randomly sticking them in my hair and cutting, done a better job. It is going to be a long six months before the damage is fully repaired. It started with a 10 minute wait beyond my scheduled time with the stylist doing something other than waiting on her customer. When I was seated, she began a full consultation which seemed odd to me; hadnt she read LeAnns notes before seating me so she was familiar with color and style? Since I was unable to tell her the exact color, she wanted to match it to a swath; which I discouraged since I had just come back from FL and mentioned several times my hair was much lighter because of being down there for a month. I suggested she review LeAnns notes and Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, everything she needed to know was in those notes. She then asked if I had a preference for scissors or the trimmer. I said scissors so she used the trimmers. Not the end of the world but why ask if you arent going to listen. And while I prefer to have my hair cut first , then colored, Sabrina cut the sides, left a heavy weight line, and the colored (not saying it is wrong but I have never seen hair cut this way). She then took off to do someone elses hair and came back to me a little before I was done processing to rinse. Again, not sure why she was in a hurry, if you are going to color then give it time to fully process, especially course hair such as sideburns. She then asked if I comb it over to the side to which I explained I gel it, swirl the back, and do a push up in the front. In her mind that translated to "cut his hair in a V" so when it hangs down I look like the 21st century version of Eddie Munster. Nothing was cut even, didnt flow with my natural hair pattern, the line was never cut out, and she completely skipped the highlights. I just sat in my car for 15 minutes trying to push it around in someway that kind of made sense but that went nowhere. Its not the $86 dollars I am out, it is a substandard cut that will takes months to grow out and fix. The fact that the owner allows someone to engage a customer like that and not supervisor them is beyond words. While I appreciated the work LeAnn did, I will not come back because of the poor quality of anothers work indicating that the salon is not well managed. Follow-up: I noted the owners comments to my post and was mystified about only being scheduled for a cut. While I was clear with the person making the appointment over the phone, mistakes do happen and to correct all that Sabrina needed to do was be honest. Easily could have been fixed by rescheduling or cutting now / coloring later, Im flexible with whatever works best to get the desired outcome. The fact that no one mentioned this resulted in a substandard cut & color only aggravates the situation further.

Your owner did not see talent when she saw it, because she just fired talent! Amy Dixon gave my husband and myself the best haircuts and styles in Louisville, I know because it took us three years to find her. The best part was we were her #1 focus when we sat in her chair, loved her personality and the fact that she treated us as if no one else existed. So instead of looking for talent the owner of Adore Salon was looking to make more money by encouraging her stylists to double book, perhaps you bit off more than you could chew by opening a salon in an area you could not afford. I will not be back to your salon or refer you to anyone. As Julia Roberts put it, mistake, BIG, HUGE! I wish Amy good luck and Ill be following you.

I just randomly came across this salon after moving to Louisville and it couldnt have worked out better. The atmosphere is fun, from the moment you walk in the door and they offer you water or sangria to the time you leave and everyone in the salon is making you feel like a supermodel. The staff at Adore Salon and Spa are kind, honest, friendly, and outgoing. They truly pamper you. I cant say enough about the staff. They are like a big family and make you feel like a part of it too. The girls are very talented and the prices are great! I would recommend this salon to anyone! O and did I mention they do much more than just hair?!?!?! Its a one stop shop for hair, nails, waxing, and sooooo much more.

This is the BEST salon & spa in Louisville!!! The service is exceptional! This is the place to go to get Adored and pampered. I have had my hair styled, my nails polished and a beautiful spray on tan and there is NOTHING not to love about this place of business and the owners! I have been getting Adored at Adore since the day they opened their doors and I look forward to each appointment I have there. The staff is great, they love what they do and want you to feel like you are special, and each time I have been there I have left feeling just that. This is a wonderful Salon and Spa!!!!! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to be Adored!!

Adore Salon & Spa was recommended to me by a national hair product company after my previous salon stylist color burned my hair and misused a keratin product that turned my hair a brassy orange. To my delight, Jennifer, at Adore was able to help improve the health and color of my hair using great products and tools. The salon is a classy and professional salon that offers a wide variety of services. I recommend it to anyone especially those needing help with damaged hair.

I love this salon! The women that work here are super friendly, professional, and educated. They are always on-time and thorough with each service (I get a haircut, eyebrow wax, facial, mani/pedi every other month). Its clean and well-decorated, and prices are fair. See Shelby for a great facial and Dawn for the most thorough mani/pedi Ive ever had (this is not a rush job - its 45 minutes per service and SO AMAZING)!
