I ordered online from Grub Hub tonight. The last time I ordered my order was alright. This time however, I ordered the bowl of soup and only received the single cup size cup. My Mom is sick and she wanted the soup. I was also missing my add on mac and cheese. The restaurant said it was GrubHubs fault and that I had to call them about it. Unprofessional. My food was also cold and I didnt get a refund. Ill only be getting back the add on mac and cheese price and the soup upgrade. Ill have to wait and see but still, it will only be a few bucks back. I spent $26 of which most I wont be getting back. I have never had a worse delivery experience, and I was very disappointed with my experience. Im never ordering from here again. They lost a great customer who would have ordered again and again had I just gotten my refund for Griffs mistake.

We stopped in for an early lunch while waiting for our son. The place was completely empty (not for long!) but we couldnt have been welcomed more warmly by both the hostess and AJ, our waiter. In fact, AJ was the friendliest and most engaged server Ive had in some time - and I eat out a lot! The boneless chicken wings with bourbon Sriracha sauce were to die for and huge - I could have eaten just that and been happy. But no, I also ordered the catfish fingers - YUM! The coleslaw was homemade and delicious, and the sweet potato fries terrific with the praline sauce. We hoped to come back later in the day with our son - it was THAT good, and we wanted to try the burgers - but he had other ideas. A must stop next time were in Louisville!

I had the cajun shrimp pasta and fried pickles! Both were delicious and the portions were huge, I had plenty leftover to take home! The decor was full of University of Louisville memorabilia from the basketball history as well as Darrell Griffith himself. In addition to the restaurant there is a very nice big bar area with big TVs and a gift shop. Whether youre a University of Louisville fan or not you will enjoy the atmosphere, the food and any possible sports on all the TVs. While I was there Darrell Griffith was in the restaurant and he was the most gracious host of the restaurant taking pictures and talking to anyone who comes by, a true gentleman. CLASS ACT like the establishment. I will be back!

Please dont have chicken & waffles on the menu if youre going to serve up some chicken tenders over deep fried sweet potato waffles fries! And even worse it doesnt come with syrup, but instead some overly sweet praline sauce. The other menu items are decent, except the boneless wings which are really good! I havent tried everything on the menu so if I judge by the wings and not the chicken and waffle fries, there might be some other good dishes to offer. I did try and stop in to do some work and grab dinner just to find out they dont offer wifi. No wifi for college students on a college campus??? The prices are already steep for college students. You think they would realize who their customers are.

Im never one yo complain about food or service. Just because I understand things happen. But when I arrived to pick up my order the directed me towards the bar. I asked for my meal then I decided I wanted dessert so I ask for the bread pudding. The lady says sure let me ask the kitchen at wich point a young man goes in the walk in. Pulls out a tray of pudding points at something apparently wrong and potentially going on the pudding?! As a person in the food industry I know very well that is not ok! You guys need to take better care of the way your staff handles food and reacts to food safety issues. I love your food but now Im scared of your kitchen

Management here runs a tight and well oiled machine. Food was delivered quickly with even the cheapest items on the menu given impressive attention to detail. I stopped in as part of a large group for lunch and were seated within a minute. The manager personally introduced himself to us and explained the menu, checking in constantly to ensure everything was flowing smoothly. Thes clean and well kept sports grill was noisy but conversation was still reasonably easy. Definate top restaurant to visit in the area at 10-15 dollars per plate.

Griffs. The food is cool. I actually really like their sweet potato fries. They arent remarkably special but their dipping is pretty good. I also am biased to sweet potato fries so it isnt hard to impress me. Check them out if youre hungry and on campus. Also there is a comfy cow right next to it for dessert.

My family and I ate there and the food was excellent! the fried pickles and fried mac/cheese was awesome. I had chicken/waffles and the others had a variety of salads, pasta and burgers. We also had the best server, Big John, he was professional and friendly...ask for Big John. This will be my new spot to eat!

Outstanding burger and a neat small bar atmosphere. Head over for lunch and have a beer to wash down the great food. A friend had the chicken and waffles and love the praline sauce on the hand breaded chicken and sweet potato waffle fries too. I recommend the place highly!

The burgers and chicken sandwiches are terrific. The service is good. The prices are a little high. The wait time is average. Id recommend this as a sit down restaurant to friends.

Took a chance on Griffs despite the reviews. Spent about 40 dollars and all we got in return was cold food almost like it had been sitting out for a while. Will not be back
