This IS your grandfathers barber shop. Friendly barbers (not stylists), great atmosphere, toys for the kids, you cant beat it. They now offer straight-razor neck shaves and a vibrating neck/shoulder rub to cap off each cut. I drive past three Supercuts and a Fantastic Sams to go to the Loop Barber Shop, have done so for years, and have no intent of stopping, even if I were to move across town.

I always look forward to getting my haircut at the loop. The laid back atmosphere is perfect for those stressful days. The staff and owner are as friendly as they are skilled, and even remember my name. It does cost a little more, but in a day and age where a coffee can cost 7 dollars, I dont mind spending a little bit extra for a superior experience and result.

Great barber shop! The location on Dundee is great, easily accessible, and within walking distance to other establishments in the area, (i.e. Heine Brothers, Great Flood Brewing, Dundee Tavern, etc.). Atmosphere is low key, relaxing. Regardless of who cuts your hair, you will not be disappointed. Great place!

Favorite place to go. Terry knows my cut and is very good at understanding what my friends are asking for. We always look phenomenal. Usually little or no wait. Very friendly. They have toys for kids to play with too. Great prices, not rude or pushy. Love this place.

Have had my haircut there for the past year. Doesnt matter who cuts your hair its going to be a quality cut. Prices a little steep at $17 a go but they take there time and make sure you you look your best.
