As a long-time client of Platinum Salon I feel compelled to respond to the negative review. The hairdressing business is very competitive and most stylists struggle to attract and keep clients. This often results in them feeling pressured to appease even the most difficult clients. Paul is in the enviable position of having built his business and reputation to the point that he may choose who he works with. He chooses to work with clients who have reasonable expectations (no one can make color process faster than science will allow) and bring joy to his day. In turn, he brings joy and beauty to ours. I would strongly recommend Platinum to anyone. Paul is incredibly talented in both hair color and cutting. Expect to wait about 6-8 weeks for an appointment - another sign that the prior reviewer is in the minority in her opinion of Platinum.

I would not recommend this business. The first time I was there my service was very pressed. I had a limited amount of time, due to it was Halloween and I needed to leave 1.5 hours into my appointment. I was not only told by the hair dresser I was stressing him out but I felt as if I were trying to please him into doing a good job on my hair. I even mentioned I could blow dry it myself and he insisted. I asked about Saturday appointments and he was very rude, stating he only did Kenny Chesneys assistance hair on days like that?! Really, I mean who is that anyway and why am I less important. Horrible all around. Friendly at first but his true colors came out when I went back for another appointment a few months later and was turned down for my appointment. He stated I had stressed him out too much and he was not doing my hair.

Ive followed Paul Harrett for over 20 years and have never met a more caring and attentive hairdresser. He is a true Professional,always busy, so be prepared to book your appts out!
