Although my bumper (plastic) was hanging on by duct tape after getting rear-ended, it matched the quarter panel (metal) color of my car perfectly (red car). I had no idea it would be so hard for Jack Hart (JH) to understand this concept. I chose JH after they recommended by a few local friends, and it was convenient for me to get there on the way to work. The initial service guy at JH seemed to genuinely care and promised to have my car put back together quickly, and that I’d be satisfied with their work. About a week later I went to pick it up and immediately noticed the bumper and quarter panel were two different colors! I pointed it out and was told, “Oh, maybe it’s the way the sun is hitting it.” and “Plastic bumpers never match metal.” That’s odd because it matched perfectly when I brought it there. I told the guy I wasn’t happy and wasn’t taking it home two different colors, and his reply was, “Well I guess if you’re not happy we’ll try again.” He got another man who worked there involved. This guy talked down to me, told me they have the “most expensive paint in town” and blamed the color difference on prior work that had been done to my car. He blamed that body shop for having cheap paint and he couldn’t cover up their work. I reminded him that it matched when I brought it to him and that if the previous body shop with “poor paint” could match the bumper to the car, then he should be able to with his “expensive paint”. I left it there for them to try a second time. A few minutes later third guy called me and nearly demanded that I turn around and come back to see the car; he wanted to show me that the left side of my car seemed to be a different color than the right. I told him I didn’t have time to come back, and highly doubt my car was two different colors, then he began to talk about me to other coworkers where I could hear him! He was telling them “I guess she wants her car painted two different colors. She doesn’t want to come back and work with us.” I reminded him that I could hear him and he said, “This isn’t fair to our guys. The insurance company pays us to fix your car. It isn’t fair for our guys to do this again and not get paid for it.” I told him that sounded like his problem and it could’ve been avoided if they had painted the car right the first time, and that if the other body shop managed to pull it off, his guys should be able to also. A few days later I came back to pick it up and it was parked in the opposite direction so that the side in question was in the shade. However, I could tell that it was STILL two different colors and looked like they didn’t even try a second time. I told them I still wasn’t happy with it, but they weren’t getting a third try. I was told, “We tried the best we could.” and “I have a $8,000 machine that takes pictures of color and matches the paint to that color. I’ve never had this problem before.” I reminded him that the last body shop was able to pull it off, and if he really had the best paint, service, and machines, he should too. They were not happy that I didn’t like their second try. I signed their paperwork so that I could leave with my car. After I signed the guy told me “Just so you know, the paint on your quarter panel is starting to lift from the bad paint job from last time, and in about a year it’ll start coming off.” Funny that was never mentioned to me while JH had my car. If they were that concerned, they would have mentioned it before I was almost out the door; unless they were just trying to upset me even more. I would never recommend JH for any services.

Should be zero stars but I have to put at least one to post. Horrible customer service. They treat you like an idiot and take no time to really talk to the customer and hear what they want fixed. They just want the insurance money and want you gone. Thy are totally an insurance claim only shop. Brought my truck in after it was hit to get repaired. Showed the guy everything that I wanted to claim and he wrote it all down while I was talking (supposedly). He explained that if I wanted to have no deductible that there is a program through my insurance company where if I did not use OEM parts and used off brand I would not have a deductible. Great sounds like a good deal I said. Here is were I get screwed by them. I have custom work on the truck that got damaged and was told that it WOULD be fixed with all the rest. That not paying the deductible would not change that. WRONG! when I picked up the truck none of the custom stuff was fixed. I asked why and they said we told you it was not getting fixed because you chose to use the no deductible policy and that the custom stuff was not covered. Thats the first problem. Second problem is I KNOW they put at least 200 miles on my truck when they had it. When I first brought it in to them it had 8,000 miles on it. I drive this truck to and from work and thats about it since I have owned it. about 10 miles a day. I brought it to them two weeks after the initial appointment so I put on about 200 miles. So we will say the mileage was at 8,200. When I picked it up from the shop after repairs were " done " it had over 8,400 on it. My math is not the best but 14x10 does not equal 400. Pretty sure they used my truck for something.

So... I had a bad situation with my Toyota Tundra and a deer on Prather :( I decided on this company after calling around town and reading reviews. Overall, I am very happy with their work! I dealt with Steve, who I believe is the owner, for the most part of my insurance covered repair. He was very straight forward and provided quality communication throughout the process. He made it clear what type of work and parts would be used to repair the damage by providing a walk through and estimated parts list before purchasing parts. I explained my desire of OEM parts and he was able to find OEM parts that fit with my insurance requirements/pricing. He was even able to order an additional headlight on time when I called a couple days later and requested one for the side of my vehicle that was not damaged (I wanted to have two new headlights since the other was damaged). I was given a quoted timeline and this company was able to finish a day early. I even received a nice letter and free car wash voucher shortly after receiving my truck back. Overall, I was happy with the ease of the transaction with my insurance company as well as Jack Hart. I would recommend this place of business 100% to anyone. My truck looks and runs exactly how it did before, which in my opinion was almost near perfect.

My insurance company recommended Jack Hart and guaranteed their work. When I called the body shop to schedule the appointment they were very short on the phone. I chalked it up to them being busy. I went in for the assessment appointment. The kid I dealt with and the guy behind the main desk were very rude. They said they would need the car for 3 days (I was fine with that). The late afternoon of the day that was supposed to be my pickup day, they called & said they rescratched the bumper that needed repaired while they were putting it back on and that I would be without the car for another day. When I asked what time the next day I would have it, they said after lunch. I never got a call until almost 3pm!! When the kid called he mispronounced my name. When I corrected him he just continued on to tell me the car would be ready within the hour to be picked up. On pickup, I was left standing in the lobby for 5 minutes. When I inspected the car, the paints didnt match & looked splotchy. Their customer service was very poor & their staff is extremely rude. The insurance company conveniently called shortly after we got home to do a survey on our experience. I recommended they take the shop off their list! I would not recommend using this shop. I also feel they are VERY over priced!
