My car was having acceleration problems and after running my own on board diagnostic codes; I decided I needed to have my spark plugs and wires changed. I went to Firestone and asked for a tune up, and more specifically that I wanted my spark plugs and wires changed. The clerk said that not only does the "tune up" not exist as a service anymore, changing my spark plugs and wires would not magically fix my problem and I needed to have a full diagnostic run. I said "fine, do what you have to. just fix my car". When I came to pick it up it ran like a dream. The clerk remarked "looks like It just needed a tune-up". The services rendered came to just under $600. $100 for a computerized engine diagnostic and $100 for a "courtesy" diagnostic. The other $400 worth of services listed on my bill were as follows: 1) change spark plugs 2) change spark plug wires 3) change fuel filter But honestly, this was my fault. I could have paid more attention to the problems, attempted to fix these easy problems myself, or shopped around for service, but I didnt. I feel I was both overcharged and misled into getting expensive and unnecessary service and I think anyone who didnt know anything about cars would be similarly taken advantage of. I will not be going here again.

This Firestone staff has been one of the most friendly, caring and knowledgeable I have had the pleasure of meeting. I was traveling from Texas to Florida on a Saturday when my tire blew on I-10 outside of New Orleans, triggering a fail safe that would not let me start the car. This was at around 6 pm so very few places were open, much less have a mechanic on hand to look at the issue. As they were closing up, having little business at that time, Steve and Victor took the time to check it out, quickly assess the problem and resolve it. They could have easily said "sorry, well open again Monday", but they helped my brother and I greatly by taking the look. They got us back on the road in under an hour. I am grateful for their service when they did not have to give it, and would give them my highest recommendation.

The old white man with glasses and grey hair is not a good person. Pretty much anywhere, you can get the "check engine light" diagnostic for free, and a quote to fix the problem. This guy wants to charge $100 for it. Every time I go to a firestone, anywhere, they try to screw you. I happen to have a degree in mechanical engineering, and most of what they tell you is complete garbage. They throw complicated mechanical terms at you, and try to confuse you into spending more money and getting unnecessary maintenance done. Unfortunatlely, almost all repair shops do this. But firestone is the worst.

Were polite over the phone, and then when they had my car, which had a lifetime alignment, they didnt adjust anything and said the alignment was in spec. The toe was off, yet they didnt adjust it. Now Im 1200 miles away and the papers I got from this location were shown to another Firestone and they said the toe was bad to the point of wearing the tires. Be wary of which location you go to with lifetime alignments.

Went in to get 6 of my tires replaced on my 1999 f350 dually. They went to the ends of the earth to get my tires the day i was to leave on my trip back to texas! And made me feel at home. Extremely courteous staff and had the best prices on the tires i wanted! Thanks guys im gonna switch from getting my tires changed at discount tire to yall at firestone!!!!

this place is the laziest worthless place I have ever gone to get anything. Their attitude was awful and they said they didnt think they had time to take a rim off a tire and put it in a new one. Compared to firestone in Lafayette this place sucks
