We loved every second of our wedding at Fleur de Lis Event Center, and I wish I could re-live it again! Our guests were SO satisfied with the venue, service, and food and we continue to get praise over how much people loved our wedding (us included! We had a blast!) The food especially--our huge Cajun families love to eat, and they were incredibly satisfied. Our personal dinner was fabulous and much needed! That moment of peace between the ceremony and the reception was so special! Our ceremony (performed by Chad from Fleur de Lis) was beautiful. We appreciated how personal it was and appreciated the religious touches and the beautiful words you chose. Often ceremonies seem generic, but ours was certainly personal and catered to us!!! We will never forget that moment. Kendra (our coordinator) and her assistant were BLESSINGS to me the day of the wedding. I never worried about anything, and that is a feeling so many brides never experience. From helping me pin my dress up when my bustle failed to work to always putting a drink in my hand AND of course the TWO BOXES of the delicious crab rangoon they sent me home with because I loved them. AND the surprise sparkler send off!!!! And thats not even the half of it. I was so lucky to have the two of them! Overall, the entire staff was so helpful and accommodating. We appreciate it so much. Our day was perfect. We couldnt be more satisfied with our decision to have our wedding with you.

I recently got married there on April 20th 2013 in the jazz room court yard and had the reception in the jazz room! Everything was AMAZING!! The ceremony was beautiful and everything went so smooth!! I had made some centerpieces and brought some pictures and some curtains and stuff to decorate with it and they made it look so good!! I loved the meal my husband and I had before our grand entrance! Everything we had asked for was there and it was so yummy! The music was good and my guests seemed to enjoy themselves! My coordinator was awesome and she was there for anything I needed! I even decided last minute that I wanted the complimentary limo and she made it happen! Everything was perfect! I didnt want it to end! The price was excellent!! I got quotes from all kinds of places and the Fleur De Lis Event Center was by far the best! I got everything I wanted for thousands of dollars under the quotes of other places! Even if you dont think you would like it look into it! Not only did the price surprise me but when my husband and I went and looked at the venue we walked in the jazz room and looked at each other and said "wow this place is really pretty!" We left saying "yeh we are getting married here"! You wont be disappointed! They truly made our special day a day to remember forever!

We were married at the Fleur de Lis Event Center on March 2, 2013. When Chad tells you that they take care of ALL the details, they really DO! We have family and friends that still talk about how wonderful the wedding was and how awesome the food was. The couple meal that they do for you before you join the party is so nice. It really makes it have a personal touch for you to have a first meal with your husband/wife. I really like the fact that they dont ask you anything during the reception about where to put gifts and what you want to drink etc. . . because they have you do all that weeks before the wedding. My husbands step father doesnt talk much but he still talks about how his glass was never empty. Kendra their bridal coordinator is great she made sure everything was perfect. She contacted our venders to make sure they were going to be on time. We didnt have to have any contact with our venders the week of the wedding. We actually had something really funny happen during our ceremony and Chad just went with it. I feel like anyone else would have made a big deal about it. I highly recommend the Fleur de Lis Event Center to anyone who wants to have a wonderful wedding and not have to worry about any details.

We live out of state and when our daughter decided she wanted to get married in the New Orleans area we were concerned about how the planning would work. It could not have been easier thanks to Chad and his staff! They are very organized and detail-oriented and genuinely work hard to give the bride and groom the wedding and reception of their dreams. Chad, Kendra, and the rest of the staff answered all our questions promptly and did everything they could to make the planning process enjoyable for us. The courtyard ceremony was beautiful. While the wedding party, family and guests enjoyed the reception, Chad, Kendra and staff were behind the scenes the entire time, making sure the special dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, second line, etc. all went as planned. We just enjoyed the party! If you want a beautiful courtyard for your ceremony, a great officiant, efficient bridal coordinator, delicious food and drink, a DJ that will make you want to take your shoes off and dance, photo booth, limo, and a courteous staff that is efficient and there to make your experience enjoyable, you need to check out the Fleur de Lis Event Center!

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the level of service provided to us on our wedding day! After reading reviews on every website I could find and finally deciding to choose FDL, Ill admit... we were ready to be dazzled! But what was given to us on our wedding day was far beyond what we could have ever asked or even dream of! The care and detail that went into every question asked of us, and even so, it wasnt like we were bombarded with questions either, was just amazing! Its been about 3 weeks and we havent stopped receiving compliments for a second from all of our guests! The food, the service, the starry sky, the music, the party, the whole thing was just so wonderful! We had the time of our lives and didnt have to worry about one little thing that day! thank you Chad for having such a beautiful place and making the nerves go away during the ceremony! Thank you Kendra for taking care of things I didnt even consider and making me feel like a queen for a day :) and the rest of the staff for making our guests feel right at home and giving them such a wonderful experience! Yall have an extraordinary place! Keep up the good work!

I had my wedding in 2010 at the Fleur de Lis Event center. Several things went wrong. The customer service was horrible and we had an uncordinated, rude and unorganized planner. She never gave us enough time to do anything and would contantly rush us. We had a cupcake tower for our guests and the servers stood around doing nothing. When I told them to hand out our cupcake they have our guests napkins and told them to get up and get it themselves. They lost several of our items (engraved glasses) and when I asked them about it said the staff took it home because we left it there after the wedding. We hardly go to eat anything - they sent us home with two syrofoam boxes and piled foods on top of eachother (disgusting). They promised us top shelf alcohol in our quote and gave us the bottom of the pot. Chad also told us his event planners would set everything up. When we brought our stuff they told us no and my family had to do all the work. They not did have any audio in the courtyard so none of my guest heard our vows. The setup was beautiful but only because we did ourselves and had an outside company do the decorations.
