I would discourage anyone from using this company. I was working with a vendor using this company for an event this past weekend. I feel that my opinion is not biased or skewed since this was not my event, but was party to the interaction between the vendor and Chris Sater, Operations Manager/ son of Harold Sater owner of the company. Encore Rentals was contracted out for 4 matching pieces of lounge furniture and instead delivered 4 mix match pieces of furniture in various colors of white, beige, and off white. Chris initially identified himself as just an employee of the company, denied being a manger and stated he was unable to make a decision in regards to replacement furniture or even to acknowledge the fault of the company not providing what was signed off for in a written contract. After the vendor demanded the furniture in which her client contracted Encore to deliver and that she was more than displeased with Encores service, Chris threatened to void the contract on the day of the event, leaving the vendors client with an empty room on the day of her wedding. I dont know about you but this is certainly is not how you rectify a problem when you are the one that did not fulfill your contractual obligations. This was not my event, but watching this interaction certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. I certainly would not use this company for any of my needs and will discourage anyone looking for rental services to steer clear!

Our first mistake was choosing Encore for our wedding and our second mistake was paying them cash up front. We booked it 7 months in advance with instructions for them to set up the day before or the day of the wedding. The week before the wedding they told us they had another event and needed to set up the Wednesday before the wedding. And we got married on a Saturday. They put the tent in the wrong place. They didnt set up ANYTHING, we had to set it up all by ourselves. It happened to rain on our wedding day and we used a rug from them to walk down the aisle, the rug got muddy and they wanted us to replace it, (which was $600) They took, by mistake, our $250 table cloths and other stuff of ours went missing that we still have not found or gotten back. Biggest SCAM and so disappointing. You would think if you give them enough money, they would treat their customers with a little bit of respect and decency especially on such an important day.. Im sure they wouldnt be bad for someones birthday party, but after the experience we had, I wouldnt use them for my cousins dogs birthday. If I was a betting man, I would bet my life that these positive reviews on here were written by ownership/employees. Nobody creates a Google account to write one positive review about Encore Event Rentals. Nobody!

I called encore to book a tent rental 4 days before my wedding around 10 A.M. and there was no talk about refund policy, this was done over the phone. Around 2 P.M. the same day I decided not to do the tent because we are moving the wedding inside. I called them 4 hours later on the same day I ordered the tent. They told me that I would have to pay for half the the tent rental and that was their cancellation policy.I was never informed about their cancellation policy when I ordered the tent. I thought this was crazy because I was calling with in 4 hours. They said that they already sent someone to longview to pick up the tent...(Big Lie) They wanted me to pay 400 dollars. Well we disputed with the credit card company and Encore informed the Credit card company that we agreed to the cancellation policy. I am furious that they would make this lie up. Since they told the credit card company this false information we were forced to pay the 400 dollars. I will never do business with this company again or let anyone I know do business with them again. Of course they are going to get on here and say that my information is false but I know what happened and they do it.

Encore is # 1! When my wife and I decided to do a backyard wedding we researched and spoke to several local companies. We found that Encore Event Rentals was the most responsive and professional of any other company. They had everything we asked for: tents, tables, chairs, table cloths, etc. Everything was about the quality we expected, and the prices are very reasonable. Tracie, the event specialist and her staff were extremely professional, responsible, and personable. Tracie has great customer service skills, she is very courteous, confident, professional, just the kind of person you want by your side while wedding planning. We had last minute requests and she successfully accommodated all our needs. The tent people were excellent. They delivered and picked up the equipment as agreed without a hitch. They were very friendly helpful and very careful with setting up and taking down the equipment. I highly recommend them for any event. Great Party Rental Company!

Rented equipment last month for our companys employee appreciation. They delivered right on time and came back to pick up after hours. It took less than 2 hours to pick everything up. We thought for sure with the amount of equipment they had to pick up that they would be there all night. Their workers were terrific and very attentive to making sure not to interfere with guests still lingering after the party was over. We will definitely be using Encore again next year and every year after.

Absolutely awesome. I had to go to Encore for an emergency last minute situation. They were able to service me with everything I needed and more.It was an one stop shop for me. I am an event planner from Louisiana but I live in Houston now and often come home to do an event. OMG,my sales agent was simply the best as well as the rest of the staff. I needed tablecloths for a Maven Productions event...they were helpful on the phone, had what I needed and when I needed an extra tablecloth the next day...easy peasy to pick up quickly. Columns are very reasonable and easy to move around. The staff is great. Their selection is vast...small parties or huge parties...Encores the place! Jerie Black

The experience I had with Encore was great. The staffing were super friendly to my staff and I. The service was fast and on point. They answered every question that I could have ever thought of. My order was ready for pick up on time. I am just so happy that I picked Encore for my event rental experience and I will be using them again.

Our family cannot say enough good things about Encore Event Rentals. The manager helped us from beginning to end with our daughters wedding. They supplied us with a tent on short notice because rain seemed likely and their entire crew was courteous and friendly. We highly recommend them!
