My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the new Riverside room at MEC. Its a phenomenal venue in terms of style and design. It looks awesome, the chandelier is a great mood setter for the dance floor, plenty of space too. We had about 160 guests and there was room for more for sure. The only little issues we had were enduring all of the construction and renovations leading up to our June 16 wedding date but that was all finished for the most part. We also had some troubles with a lot of wedding coordinator turnover but in the end we were set with the best one of them all, Kastina. I highly recommend working with her if youre looking to go with MEC. Shes a very good consultant and provides good, honest recommendations that we trusted and ultimately were very pleased with. The food vendors were also very good as well. The pricing is fair/reasonable considering the quality of the venue too. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the space and it made for an awesome day. My wife and I loved our wedding and we cant imagine holding it anywhere else.

We had our wedding ceremony & reception at MEC on 6-11-16. I was so pleased to have a completely flawless wedding day - from the beginning of the planning process to the big event. Our friends & family are still talking to us about how gorgeous the venue was and how flawless everything went. Besides the beauty of the space, the staff was more than helpful and our coordinator - Niki - was a superhero. I couldnt begin to tell you everything she did behind the scenes on the day of our wedding, because Im sure I wouldnt even know! She was always pleasant to deal with and willing to go out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. On the day of, she was happy, organized, and thorough the whole way through and thanks to her and the MEC staff we have a wedding to brag about for the rest of our lives!

Business presentation event was somewhat problematic. Chairs were uncomfortable and viewing the presentation was difficult. There was one central screen, but that contact was not shared across other available screens. Not sure why. Food was good. Location is great. Space is great.

AMAZING! from the atmosphere and food to the FANTASTIC staff (Polo and Johnny were personable and extremely accommodating) I had such a great time at my cousins wedding! Though I didnt fork the bill, I HIGHLY recommend this venue for events. Your guests will not be disappointed.

Amazing venue! So many different ways the couple can utilize the space and a lot of options for photo spots- which as a wedding photographer, I absolutely love! If youre looking for a Minneapolis reception space, I highly recommend!

I was very impressed with this event center. I had never been there or even by it in the past. Easy to get to and easy to find. Inside, the event center was quite nice. The food was good, too. I was thoroughly impressed.

A friend had her wedding reception here and it was really lovely. Industrial chic. Enough space for tables, a mingle/standing area, and a dance floor. Great lighting and ambience. Also, really nice bathrooms.
