The staff isnt friendly AT ALL terrible customer service Whenever you ask for information about ANYTHING they act like your bothering them They are not knowledgeable about the equipment I have personally seen the staff make a face when a heavy set woman entered the gym Dont come @ 4a.m they wont want to sell you a drink much less give you eye contact Dont come in the evening around 7p.m you will get the" I will sit on my ass cause Im too cute to do my job crew( I literally saw a guy primp in the mirror for 15 min) There isnt very many personal trainers **SO WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GYM THAT HAS NO PERSONALITY, A JUDGMENTAL STAFF, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE,AND IF YOU PRETTY MUCH KNOW A ROUTINE THAN THIS IS YOUR GO TO GYM !!!**** **BUT if you are like me and notice the important things in a gym and value customer service I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER GYM Yes the price is cheap but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR I would rather join a gym that has all the qualitys I look for and pay more

Planet Fitness is a pretty straight-forward operation. You pay a low monthly fee, and a reasonable annual fee, and you get access to some really great equipment, weights, and a clean environment 24/7. Even during peak hours you can still get a treadmill or cardio equipment. Everyone seems friendly enough, but I havent demanded much out of the staff either. They offer small classes which are available to sign up at the desk. Thats nice! There are stations with napkins and disinfectant to use after you get done with your equipment, and the culture there is that everyone seems to use it. Ive never caught a cold from going! I go 2x a week and run a couple miles on the treadmill and lift a few weights. You can plug your headphones into the treadmill and listen to any of the 10+ channels they have on the overhead TVs. I feel like I get every cents worth of my membership, which is more than I can say for other $40+/mo gyms Ive tried in town. Thanks Planet Fitness for meeting my needs as a fitness facility!

Nothing but issues since day one! Poor management. The staff was not very knowledgeable. My monthly memberships dues were not taken out and the staff would not tell them there was no problem. So I was left with almost a $100 balance before they said anything about it. They had my address wrong in the system and I after told them multiple times and filling out the correct forms, it was still not updated in the system. The front office staff told me to contact the manager to fix it. For someone reason they could not fix it themselves, even though they told me they fixed it in the past. They did not seem to concerned about it being wrong and my account not being charged correctly. I canceled the membership after months of issues. They advertise no commitment, but I was charged a $63 cancelation fee. FYI, the gym does not have a lot of free weights. Its mostly cardio and with the gym being so cheap, its mostly packed but dies off by Thursday.

I went there today prepared to join but wish now Id read the reviews prior to going. The customer service is in fact HORRIBLE! I had to raise my voice for some acknowledgement. The assistant manager tried to redeem himself by showing me the gym in a nice manner; however, some freckled guy rudely interrupted our encounter which was completely offsetting to me. The non committal option and low price were an immediate allure but as another reviewer stated, you do indeed get what you pay for! Needless to say, I left without joining. Planet Fitness needs to invest some time and money in training its staff in proper customer service because this establishment is SEVERELY LACKING!!

I admittedly used to hate on PF but now Ive been a member for almost a year. Overall it is clean, cheap, and has enough equipment to get the job done. HOWEVER, a few complaints... My main complaint is that they dont have any free barbells. Instead, they have Smith machines, of which there are only 4. This is a huge gym and to only have 4 squat/bench racks is crazy. Even at peak hours in early January, there are numerous elliptical-type cardio machines that dont get used, but the Smith machines are occupied even on very low-volume days. Id also love to see some Concept2 rowers in here as well!

Ive had many different accounts with planet fitness. Ive been an off and on customer for years. This time is going to be my last. Yes, they have a very nice facility and keep it very clean. However, this last time I signed up they had the sign up for $1 in January. What they did not tell me was that on March 1st they would take out the annual fee of $50. Yes, its not that much money, but I did not like how I was not told so that I could make sure there was money in my account. Now that Im trying to cancel they are making it very hard to cancel. Never Again!

Im a regular at Planet Fitness (5-6 days a week). On weekdays I try to get there before 3 when I get out of class, and I rarely have to wait for a bench near the free weights or a machine. I have never had to wait for cardio equipment. On weekends, I come shortly after lunch, and it is rarely crowded then as well. Im sure the influx of people will steadily decline as the year progresses. Gym is super clean. Manager is always polite and helpful. Really nothing I would change, happy with my membership.

I really enjoy going to Planet Fitness for the most part. I go about 3-5 times a week.The service at the front desk is definitely lacking sometimes, especially at night. Also, there is a tanning room (#4) where the lock on the door is broken and will not lock. I (and my sister in law) informed the front desk 2 months ago and they still have not fixed it. Other than that, the place is clean. You cannot beat a gym membership plus tanning for $20/month.

I joined PF approximately a year ago. the minute I got signed in, a trainer welcomed me and said she was going to start me on my routine. (She also showed me all the devices they have to revive you , in case of a cardiac emergency.) I think the reason being, I am a white haired, 85 yo lady. All the staff greets me by name, when I come in. I think anyone who joins will benefit by all the machines and classes that are available .

I absolutely enjoy being a member of Planet Fitness. I would love it even more if there was a facility closer to home versus me having to drive out of my way to get there. Planet Fitness should really consider coming to the North Shreveport or Blanchard area where the area is starting to grow as far as new businesses coming.

I think they have a great staff & the machines are the best. Also, I would highly recommend getting the black card so you can use it anywhere in the USA when traveling where there Is a Planet Fitness. You an also use the hydro massager with the black card. Super relaxing.
