Let me put it like this: I needed a hair cut badly! My hair got to a point where I started looking like a lion from the African Safari. Being a person who hasnt gotten a haircut in over a year, I was a bit overwhelmed at the thought of choosing a barber. There are so many shops in Baltimore to choose from; however, I felt drawn to Royal Razor. After reading so many awesome reviews, I decided to take a chance and get a hair cut today. Upon walking into the shop, I couldnt help noticing how modern, up-to-date and clean everything looked. Most shops that I have been to in the past appear to be rundown. Not that I mind quaint, antiquated barbershops; its just that I appreciate when a shop is well-lit and clean. I was greeted by Jay (short for Jarrett) who graciously welcomed me in his chair. He asked a few probing questions about what I wanted, and he went straight to work. Did I mention that there were big screen TVs everywhere in the shop? The cleanliness of the shop, the movie that was playing and Jarretts gregarious nature truly put me at ease( I was nervous lol) during the whole time I was there. Jarrett not only soars as a barber, but he also soars as a conversationalist. After a half hour, I came out looking like a new person. I LOVE my cut! Thanks, J! I will be back. If you need an awesome haircut in Baltimore, dont hesitate to pay Royal Razor a visit. Isiah

I am travelling from New York and visiting Baltimore for a graduation. My boyfriend wanted a hair cut. We walked in at 11:29 am. We were told to sit and wait for the next available barber. When we walked in, there were 5 barbers. After an hour, there were 4. After another hour, 2 barbers left. Each barber left with no word, claiming they had appointments. After 3 hours and no hair cut later, I am now agitated and quite frankly very disappointed. Its a Friday, have more babrbers on call if the shop is busy or at least give customers a wait time. I understand that I didnt have an appointment but this is a tad too much. I took a picture of the barbers working but Google wont let me upload the picture. I think its ridiculous that only 2 barbers are working on a Friday. The customer service here is atrocious. Its safe to say that I will never ever coming back to this barber shop. The wait is too long and even if I wanted to make this my regular barber shop, Id rather give my money to a friendly and customer geared establishment. Please do something about your customer service!!! If I could give you 0 stars, I would.

This is by far the coolest barbershop Ive ever been. They just opened and only have two barbers. The place is huge! I watched some TV and surfed the web while waiting on this great couch...I wanted to sleep on it. I got cut by their white barber, Joe...this guy is good and professional. Besides the look of the shop, what made the shop so unique was the diverse customer waiting. There were older white guys, young black skaters, professional suit guys, and an asian doctor...Ive never been in a shop that catered to so many. The really cool thing is that every cut ends with a head massage! The barber slapped on a vibrating machine on his hands and finished the service with a minute head massage. I got more than my moneys worth. It is so hard to find a barbershop these days and Ive found one. Im mos def going back!

This review if for Joe. I went about a year ago on a business trip and I needed to get my hair cut. I ran into Royal Cuts on Google. I walked in and I was impressed. It was clean and the environment was excellent. Joe was the first guy to reach out to me. Down to earth, easy going, and easy to talk to. That was the first time I met him and it felt as if I had been a regular for a while now. He was passionate about cutting my hair because it was something different from what he had been doing lately. I promised him I would write him a review on my experience, granted its almost a year later. I still use my experience at Royal Cuts as standard for great ownership and customer service experience. Thanks again Joe Ill be back in April.

Ive been taking my son here for roughly six months and my experience has been nothing less than phenomenal!! They have great customer service and produce great quality results. My son barbers name is Jarrett and he is great with children. My son is 5 yrs old, but he knows if he doesnt like his hair cut or the barber, and he tells me all the time he really likes his barber.....he says b/c he is nice and doesnt hurt his head, lol. I would definitely recommend Royal Razor, specifically Jarrett, to a friend or anyone looking for quality service and a satisfying finish product.

Unfortunately after two visits I decided I needed to look elsewhere for a good haircut. It doesnt help that the furniture and the decor of the lobby is poorly maintained. The lobby of RR is nicely styled, but unfortunately the furniture is in bad shape. The couches are nice, but they need to be replaced with more durable furniture. I noticed the pictures frames on the wall are very dirty and dusty, and many of them dont even have pictures in them. The haircuts I got were very poor. I wish I could still go; I have to drive acorss downtown for a good haircut.

I Came from Cincinnati OH, for Bronycon. I felt I needed a haircut so I checked online and found this place near the Baltimore Convention Center. The haircuts are premium for the prices, and Clinton and his crew did an excellent job. I really felt great afterwards. The waiting area has Netflix and a great sound system while you wait. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments recommended. For what its worth, you can find cheaper places for a haircut, but you do get your moneys worth when you choose this place. Great job Clinton. Hope you get more good reviews!

I like this place because they are organized and I get a great haircut every time I visit here. You can schedule your haircut online and pick the person you want to cut your hair. Their site says walk-ins are welcome, but I would suggest making an appointment online at your convenience as they are frequently busy and scheduling online guarantees a haircut close to the time you specify. I dont think it particularly matters who you choose to cut your hair via their website, but if its your first time and youre not sure I would see if Manny is available.

My son and another young man was there frist and no one would cut there hair people was just walking in came right in and they cut there hair had my son setting there for 30 minutes very bad services ..that not how you treat people .and black people wonder why we dont support them this is why...sad just sad of how we treat each other ..went right to another shop in and out ..you better no it wasnt black own.

I have attended college in Baltimore for a year now and always went back home to my local barber for a mediocre cut and long wait. I finally decided to find a Barbershop in the area and found Royal Razor. I was greeted by a chipper small dog, there was no wait, great customer service, great quality cut, and a very well designed. This is the BEST BARBERSHOP I have EVER been to! I will definitely be back.
