Im replying to the person who wrote the statement about firing At Your Service Events Planner. I regret that you feel this way but our company was not fired by anyone. Since the name was not given I am guessing that this was a wedding client in 2014 who we served as Day of Coordinator at their private residence in Concord VA, and Lexington Carriage had an accident and showed up late after the ceremony. Because there was no cell service in this rural area, we could not contact the vendor. Once Lexington Carriage arrived they offered to give service but the clients refused. Instead they took us to court and demanded payment. We offered to pay 1/2 of our fee to resolve the case despite the judge stating we didnt owe the plaintiff Chad. We paid our part and never was fired by this client. We completed the wedding and went above and beyond our Day of Services to satisfy the clients. The clients hired several vendors on their own without our input and at least 2 of them disappointed them--the photographer left before the cake cutting and the carriage company was late. We regret this happened and did the best we could to help make their wedding as perfect as possible.

SUPERB SERVICE!!! We are so grateful and thankful for Connie Parsons and her team! They were fantastic and made our wedding day the most incredible day ever! I had several last minutes changes and requests. The entire wedding staff were professional, courteous and such a joy to work with. Connie with At Your Service Event Planner is phenomenal to work with. With her true professionalism, she coordinates and executes plans for various events. She makes sure that she is looking at all aspects of the event and areas that would otherwise not be covered. Within a team setting, Connie, as the leader, excels at managing ideas and streamlining them for the best results and not just the result of one person or another. In addition to her excellence at events and fundraisers, her setups for wedding events are great! She is fast and efficient at setting up her booths at events, very knowledgeable in what she is speaking to and polite when working with couples. I have seen her work in booths at Belk, at wedding events at vineyards and other times to ensure that they are the best that they can be. Connie is a class act to work with!

Connie Parsons is amazing at what she does! Shes experienced, professional and a great teacher. Last year, I was in search of a mentor; someone who could show me "the ropes" in the wedding and event planning industry. I was a newly certified wedding planner and had recently joined the Association of Bridal Consultants. I wanted to learn as much as I could learn about being a planner in the industry. I reached out to Connie and it was a done deal. Connie has made herself available to me, she has taken me along to weddings as her assistant and gave me the exposure that I was looking for. I have seen her provide phenomenal service to her clients and really go over and above for them. Shes organized, detailed and client focused. If hired for an event, rest assured that you will be in great hands!

How in the world would a guest know how well these people worked with other vendors? The post above "Yvonne Tracy" is a lie. What a terribly unprofessional company. Absolutely would not recommend for anyone. They botched Alans wedding and are trying to cover it up. Their services with that wedding was a nightmare. You can confirm with the bride and groom themselves. The extents and utter lack of morals of some people I swear...if you cant trust them to uphold the responsibility of being honest and accepting responsibility for awful service, you dont want to trust these people with the most important day of your life.

More like NEVER AT YOUR SERVICE. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR EVENT!!! I made the mistake of hiring CONNIE PARSONS for my wedding. She "forgot" to show up to our most important meeting. She hung up the phone on myself and my father. And then she proceeded to send me awful text messages after I asked her not to contact me anymore. I have fired her and now she is refusing to give me my money back. This will be taken into legal terms. Trust me- you DO NOT want to hire a wedding planner who is being sued. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!

I attended and worked the Phenomenal Womens Heart Walk to raise money for the American Heart Association at Percivals Island in Lynchburg VA. Great food. Variety of vendors offering jewelry, specialty bbq sauces, travel/event planning, insurance, make up and chocolate!!! While the turnout wasnt as massive as projected, the event did help to raise over $700 in only 4 hours!!!. The vendors were able to network with one another as well as the walkers and runners; creating a friendly atmosphere and some lasting work relationships.
