Worst haircut ever. They only seem to focus their barber skills to the clients they are familiar with. If you never been there take my advise. Its hot, their clippers are not adjusted properly. when they mess up they dont correct their mistakes, they will try to hold the mirror for you so you cant see it where they went wrong. All and all the worst. I wouldnt suggest them to my worst enemy.

Moved to the area a year ago and tried a few other places which dont hold a candle to Main Event. This place has a great atmosphere but more importantly it has great barbers like Leon and Twan. Everyone knows their craft and you wont be disappointed. They also have student pricing which other places nearby dont.

Dont go here if you are not a regular. I waited an hour and a half and they took three people ahead of me who arrived after me. No one ever spoke to me. I finally just got up and left; Ill take my business elsewhere in town. They seem to be overpriced for the area as well ($20 for a regular haircut).

Ask them not to be too emotional before serving you!!!Chill people,nice hair cut,fair price,but this guy Steve,he was talking about a political issue with another customer while cutting my hair and he was so excited that he cut me instead of my hair. Ask them to calm down before serving you!!!

This place is always my go to. If youre a UMD student, its even better for you. I usually go to Steve, but all of them are talented and very nice. They are completely skilled in cutting ANY type of hair and you wont be disappointed. Good prices, good people, good cuts.
