First off, let me say that my family had been coming to this place pretty much exclusively for the last 13 years... not because theyre the best, but because theyre really cheap, and we dont really need fancy hairdos. Today I got a taste for how they treat loyalty. Today I went in for my regular hair cut, which was fine. I got the cut, paid the barber, tipped my usual 50+%, then went on my way home. It was only after I took a shower that I noticed that my hair cut was very uneven, so I went back to the barber shop to get it fixed. The barber admitted that he cut it uneven on purpose, but since that was not what I asked for, I asked him to fix it. It took him less than 5 minutes. When he finished, I grabbed my stuff and was about to leave when out of nowhere the sister of the owner, Susan (who was the only other employee in the shop, and someone who I had never met before in my 13 years of going there), decided to stare me down and make a comment stating that I was "torturing" the barber, and that I was completely out of line for "forcing him to cut [my] hair again." When I asked her to elaborate, she said that my hair was perfect when he first cut it, and I was torturing him by making him spend "hours" cutting my hair. The entire haircut could not have lasted more than 30 minutes, which included the initial cutting and the fixing. On top of this, the barber himself admitted that he cut it unevenly, which he did without any instruction from me, and without even letting me know. I couldnt understand why she was getting so upset. I was a paying customer who had been coming to this barber shop for 13 years, and was paying to receive a haircut that I wanted... not a haircut that they decided to give me. The entire encounter was relatively quick and painless given the circumstances, and even the barber himself didnt seem to mind. When I tried to explain my position, she started to become extremely agitated, yelled at me to "get out her store" and threatened to call the cops, which I thought was a fine idea if she felt so inclined, since I had done nothing wrong. I suppose she realized she had no position to call the cops because she never did. Needless to say, I had never been so disrespected or confused in life. Not only had my whole family been going there since 2004, but I had also brought it a lot of business by recommending it to my friends. And this is apparently how theyre treat their loyal customers. I really wish I could take back all the good things Ive said about this place. Aside from my barber, this place never really had the friendliest atmosphere, and aside from their cheap cuts, it really doesnt have much else going for it. 10/10 would not recommend. Pay a little more and get treated like a human.

My first time here and it could have been better. The man who cut my hair on the Salon side did so in a rushed manner. I think his name was Tam. He did not do a good job of removing hair pieces from my face. My neck was all red and with a burning feeling when I touched it later on, I think because of the razer he used and how much pressure he used in his shaving.
The hair cut is ok. Ill have to wash my hair to see how it is without any hair products in it. Ill probably have someone else cut and style my hair next time if I go there again or tell the same man not to use the razer on me. All places should rinse a clients head without a charge, of the cut hair pieces that had remained or use the blow dryer on a cool heat setting to get as much off as possible.
I think he meant well and may have more of a sense of different styles and may be more creative than the people on the Barber side but he could have done a better job with me this time.
The customer service has not been all that great and professional all the time . I went in once close to closing time and the one gal named Jessica or Jess if I recall her name did not want to take me. If a salon or any other business is open for service they should provide their services.

I am assuming the salon part is under the same ownership as the barber. I went in with my wife so she can dye her hair because it was cheap compared to the other place we usually go to, Corazon Latino. We sat and she was called to get her hair done and during the whole process the guy was doing my wife hair, then cutting other customers hair, then was dying another asian woman hair, and repeat the process over and over. At the end my wife hair was not done correctly because some parts are light and dark. My wife explained to me that the guy was rushing to dye her hair and she felt that he did not know what to do. Maybe if the guy just focused on one customer at a time everything would have come out good. Ya they have a TV in there, but that does not mean anything if I am paying to get hair done PROFESSIONALLY, which I believe none of them are. So for future reference I would rather spend an extra couple dollars to get it done the right way. I was in the location for over two hours and had our son with us so I dont understand how my wife hair still came out horrible. Will not be returning.

I am pretty sure I could replicate the quality of cuts myself at home, blindfolded, with a pair of scissors. Honestly, the chances of anybody here having actually been educated in hair dressing, other than the owner, is probably zero. You might save ten bucks going here but you get the most pathetic haircut imaginable. My husband went here for a cut, the woman took off maybe half an inch and called it a day. He had to go back and get it actually cut, another 1.5 inches off. For women, they dont even part your hair! The woman whose name starts with a V doesnt even check each side of your head to see if its even. She just blindly chops bits off, huge chunks. Ask for 2 inches off, she cuts 4! Its honestly hilarious, they expect a tip too! Get stuffed. Just spend an extra ten bucks and go to a qualified salon.

I came in with 3 months of hair growth because I want it long. I asked for a light trim off the top, what I got was nearly no hair left. I cant even grab it where my hand use to be able to swim in hair. I came in happy and left wanting to chop her damned head off. I have received many complements from women on my thick long hair. All I wanted was it cleaned up. She even shaved part of my face leaving me with a dueche goate. I didnt have time to protest, she just ran the clippers down the side of my face. Then when I didnt tip her, I was given this diry look

Today I went in with probably 2-3 inches of hair in the front. I am 12 so didnt want it to short. I showed exactly how short I wanted it (about 1/4 inch). It came out to be above my eyebrows and you can see my forehead. I was very disappointed. Currently it is not straight either. Also the guy using the battery-powered thingy (no clue what is called) was really hurting me because something was sharp. Also when the guy combed my hair he brushed really hard. I probably will never go again unless I get a better person.
