It’s hard for me to think of a more unethical company I have done business with in recent memory. I am not writing this review to cause trouble or to insult American Contracting, but to inform potential clients and subcontractors to stay as far away as you can from these people. I am part of a company (Which shall remain nameless) who worked alongside ACE as subcontractor. I don’t think Google will allow enough room to type how many problems we faced working with them. From not receiving deposits anywhere near the agreed dates, to getting back charged for circumstances on the project that were completely out of our control, and not our responsibility within the contract. Their complete arrogance and lack of concern for the project led to it getting finished late, and them getting penalized. Unable to face their own mistakes they lashed out at their subcontractor and withheld pay, that two years later, has not been remitted. I don’t go out of my way to write reviews about other companies, especially bad ones, but this is an exception. Make your own informed decision about this company, and ask yourself if this is really who you want to work with.
