By far the worst Zips cleaners I have ever used, and I had previously used Zips for ~2 years while living in DC. Those familiar with Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirts know theyre designed to lay loose and casual. No matter how many times you tell these people at this Zips location not to starch these shirts, they starch them. The shirts come back hard as a rock. After the 3rd time of them doing this to my $85-130 shirts, I became angry with the male store manager. He then made it a point to note on the ticket "ABSOLUTELY NO STARCH!" -- The shirts were again returned starched. Still, he blamed me for the error, saying that this is happening because some require dry cleaning and others require laundering. This is an argument which makes absolutely no sense. He would not acquiesce, still blaming me even after I pointed out his note on the finished garments which clearly stated, "ABSOLUTELY NO STARCH!" I asked to speak to the manager, some lady named "Sylvia" - He said I would have to come back into the store to speak to her. I asked him to have Sylvia call me. Turns out, Sylvia doesnt call customers--just wont do it. I then called and asked to speak with Sylvia--The male manager told me I would have to come into the store to speak to her. I work for a living and cant work my scheduled around when Sylvia will be at that store. I demanded to speak to her. Sylvia came on the phone and was more worthless than the male manager. She told me to come into the store and check the shirts, which they had re-done for the 3rd time. She could not guarantee that the starching of my shirts would not happen again. I am no longer a Zips Dry Cleaning customer.

I live 30 minutes away from this dry cleaners and I always tell them to put creases in the pants and on the dress shirts sleeves. 9 out of 10 times I am having to return them for no creases and making another out of the way trip to pick them up. Sometimes they are fixed and sometimes not or some are done correct while others are not and I have to now sort through them before taking them. We complained to the manager twice and he promised they would be done correctly. Well that didnt happen. I think theres a huge language barrier because the Hispanic lady specifically put notes in the system for the creases and the manager explained today (4/3/17) that the creases didnt get done because they werent written in Spanish... I guess he doesnt realize that it doesnt look good on him because he is the one running the store and if youre hiring Spanish speaking/reading only ladies, then you need to make sure you can speak Spanish to them so they have a full understanding! After we pick up our once again returned shirts, we will no longer visit this location. Not sure why it is so hard to expect people to do the job their business is about?!

Took my Ralph Lauren Polo pea coat here to have it cleaned. This is the first time here figure Id give it a try really wanted it cleaned and back same day but usually stay at a local small mom and dad business. Showed them what needed to be done and the coat was in perfect condition minus just having to be cleaned. I got the coat back with a blue tagged pinned to the sleeve saying received defective condition. I think not! I looked at the jacket with a hole on the sleeve with the tag on it. There is no sense trying to argue with the unprofessional staff since the first words out of their mouths are it was like that when you dropped it off. Ignorance just lost you a customer so now Ill stay at the small mom and dad local businesses.
