Went here with a group of people on a Sunday. It was not very crowded, maybe 40% capacity, but the service was incredibly slow. The food (I got a burger) was very tasty, but took about an hour to arrive at the table after it was ordered. The waiter was nice, but seemed to get upset when he realized the group had separate checks (we tipped well anyways). From that point on, the table seemed like the last priority for him. Additionally, the tables were unsteady and short, and the chairs were kind of worn out and mine was uncomfortable. I later discovered that it was literally falling apart. So the long and short of it is: The food was pretty good for a chain, solid 8/10, service was mediocre, shaky 5/10, atmosphere could have been better, but was not too bad, average 6/10. I have been to other chain locations and had pretty decent experiences but this one was not so great. Maybe it was the perfect storm, but I really felt like they were both unprepared and untrained in waiting and billing. The very long wait and disdain our waiter had detracted from the experience.

We arrived at this restaurant and was greeted by an energetic greeter. We ordered our food and everyone food came out okay except for my food I was eating my salmon and got to the middle and it was raw. I called the waitress and she apologized and ask if I wanted something else I told her no. She took it off my bill. Then I ask for the manager and the only thing he said was he would go back to the kitchen to see the food and he never returned. Then my daughter notice her straw in her drink was dirty the person just looked at the straw and took it off the bill. What sorry service and I definitely will not be returning to this place. The manager lacked the ability to resolve the issue with my food and this place is unsanitary. If I wanted Sushi I would have gone to a Sushi restaurant.

I was originally going to rate this as average, but then something happened. I ate my left overs. We went to RH&B and ordered the standards. It was so loud and the waitress was foreign so ordering became a bit of challenge (we resorted to pointing to the menu). The food did not impress me, but there was nothing wrong with it either. So, we took home the extras. Well, boy am I happy we kept them. I am not a fan of cold BBQ, but these left overs seemed like they had gained a full flavor from having sat overnight and the cold meat still melted in my mouth. So, that is my recommendation. Get takeout on the way home from work and enjoy it cold for lunch the next day.

A sincere THANK YOU to Jana from Red Hot & Blue for making us feel at home at this fine establishment. This place exudes friendliness and its authentic southern style fare is spectacular. Ribs? Check. Brisket? Check. Sweet tea? Check. Baked beans? Check. Potato salad? Check. Pecan pie? Check. Hush puppies? Double check. As native Texans and now New England transplants, we can vouch all of the above dishes, which are hard to come by in our neck of the woods, are cooked to absolute perfection. A perfect beginning to our weekend in Maryland!

Red Hot and Blue is THE best barbeque place EVER! Their ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and slaw are the absolute best. Great atmosphere, music, service and the staff couldn`t be nicer. The hot homemade bread straight from the oven melts in your mouth. I am getting hungry just typing this and its 5:43 a.m. ...lol There is absolutely no way to get a better southern meal. Oh and there is one waiter who likes to do magic tricks and dazzle the patrons.

Boor Bear and Rulo must be retarded. Yes Im insulting you. One star? Are you kidding me. Red Hot and Blue has fantastic BBQ.Just while writing this Ive decided maybe Ill grab lunch there . Anyone thinking of trying this resturaunt out should go for themselves. You will find amazing service, food, and atmosphere. Id recommend the All-in burger, or the pulled chicken platter. Let me also just add, best french fries around. You WONT be dissappointed.

Ill eat almost anything, but this was the first time I returned a dish. The brisket platter was dry and soggy at the same time as if it was boiled. Im not a fan of the sause but my girlfriend enjoyed it on her chicken (that was dry too) , something was off. The sides were great, we liked the fried Okra and Bake Beans and the service was great. In conclusion skip brisket and the chicken (that was dry too) come for some okra and the atmosphere.

A few years back we would come to this place regularly.... went last night and boy has it gone downhill. Food was bland and tasted re-heated. Worst of all was the environment - there were more fruit flies than french fries... we changed tables to a window hoping that maybe we were just too close to the bar... that delayed the constant swatting at the air for about 3-5 minutes. If thats how the dinning area is - Id hate to see the kitchen.

We come from Kansas City and our standards for BBQ are predictably high. After serveral years searching central Maryland, Red, Hot and Blue comes in amid the top BBQ restaurants. The smoked meats are hard to beat. The ribs are always tender and tasty, as is the pulled pork and the chicken. The baked beans have plenty of spice and meat flavor. For an appetizer the fried onion cube is amazing. Come hungry and eat hearty.

Its been better. I had their ribs and was impressed with how tender but was unimpressed with the seasoning. Under the sauce the meat was bland. Even the re-heat the next day was still bland. I did enjoy the server and the backed beans as well as coleslaw were really good but I didnt go for coleslaw. I went for ribs and they were not good. Our monthly BBQ will be relocated once again ....

This place was fantastic. People always describe a places ribs as "fall off the bone", but I never quite knew what that actually meant until I went here. These ribs were so good that it was actually DIFFICULT to eat them because they just literally fell right off the bone. The pulled chicken and brisket I had were amazing as well. Overall a fantastic experience. Definitely going there again.

Really a 4.5ish. Got the all meat combo. Ribs, sausage really good. Pork good, had better, chicken okay. Chicken did not seem slow cooked or smoked. Brisket not really what I am used to. Kinda mushy and could barely identify it. Bread was fresh and really good. Service excellent. Would be a 5 but for brisket. Look forward to that, and was disappointing. Highly recommended though.

As a southerner, I appreciate great service and great food. This restaurant has both. This is our second time dining here, and all of the food is fresh and taste like good quality food. Tonight I ordered the sausage platter with coleslaw and potato salad. Also, their sweet tea is approved by me. We also ordered desert to go. I love this place because it reminds me of home. Enjoy!

I LOVE this place. The music, the hurricanes, the pulled pork sandwiches, the cream of crab soup, the bbq sauce, the dry rub, the pork nachos. Oh my god, simply delicious and absolutely amazing. The staff is great and friendly. LOVE this place. If you are looking to try it and havent been, do yourself a favor and get in here and get some pulled pork. Ugh....heaven on earth!
