If you need custom cabinets, built-in book cases, window seats, fine furniture restoration, even cabinet re-sizing that looks like it has always been that way and matches your old cabinets, all of this has been done in my house with the finest workmanship and attention to detail and reasonable prices by Meisterbuilders. I am a very happy and satisfied customer! If you see something in a magazine,like a built-in window seat with a little cut out for a dog bed or a kitchen cabinet with built in place for your dog bowls or a kitchen banquette for your children--Meisterbuilders can do it at a good price, exactly how you want it. They took musty old built-in drawers that were a waste of space and turned them into beautiful built-in book cases with glass doors that enhance the room and are functional too. Meisterbuilders created a lovely cabinet to hide ugly wires with access to a fuse box and storage space in my basement. They can do anything! Steffen will give you good advice, a good price and excellent craftsmanship! Thank You Steffen!

I used Steffen to build a table that could display my antique roulette wheel. We didnt want a full gaming table, just a conversation piece for an interesting collectors item. Steffens design was beautiful, sturdy, and just right for our needs. He tweaked the design when we asked for changes (maple, not oak; round instead of square) and was very responsive. Throughout the construction process he kept us informed of his progress by sending frequent pictures. It was easy and pleasant doing business with Meisterbuilders.

I came to Steffen at Meisterbuilders to help me create three custom designed boxes to hold jars of honey at our restaurant, Potomacs Founding Farmers. He suggested that he us reclaimed Chestnut wood salvaged from old American barns and weathered nails to complete the look. The boxes look beautiful and are exactly what I wanted. Additionally he did them quite fast and sent me a series of drawings to confirm exact measurements prior to construction. I cant wait to hire him for another project!

Steffen has produced a number of custom pieces for my home office, each of them original, well crafted and good-looking. Hes taken on jobs small and large and patiently discussed the design of each until what he made is what I wanted. His willingness to undertake small projects is particularly noteworthy as is the attention he gives to everything sent his way. I cant wait to come up with more ideas for him to make.

We had an antique cherry chair break and couldnt find a shop to properly repair it. We found Steffen Bloetner who was able to match the wood, turn three new pieces, (the leg and two stretchers), and properly drill the mounting holes (at very unusual angles) and reassemble it to its original condition. We are very pleased with the results and now intend to use Steffen for custom cabinetry work as well.

Steffen is an excellent craftsman. He made a wonderful, high-quality kids bed for us and was extremely helpful in the design and planning stages of the project. We are completely satisfied with our bed and will treasure it for a long time. Highly recommend Meisterbuilders, Inc!
