BEYOND outraged with this gym. I got a membership a few months ago and asked to get a tour of the gym. They said someone would call me so I had to fill out a form- waited and waited and no call. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were just really busy so I went to their website and filled out where Id like to meet with a personal trainer to see if he could help me and show me the machines and see if hiring one would be something Id be interested in. Waited and waited- no call! Everytime I came in there the people at the desk never said a word to me and trying to get their attention to turn on the tanning beds was a task in itself. So I decided I wanted nothing to do with this gym and totally appalled and so I asked to cancel my membership. The "manager" on the phone told me I couldnt, that they would cancel it but would still charge me until April of next year!!! What?! So its my fault that you guys didnt do your job and no I have to suffer the consequences when I just want to go to another gym and get better service? I then asked to speak with someone above him since he said he was the manager and he said "hes unreachable, sorry." I finally just called the office in Salisbury and the man there apologized for them and helped me. The only good thing about this gym is the tanning beds are included. Classes I want to take arent after business hours and I literally only knew where the arm machines were and NO ONE even acknowledged my existence they just made sure to take my money every month. I will NEVER go back here.

If you have the pleasure to meet Alyssa prepare for the rudest customer service of your life. Ive been a member here for 4 years and after attempting to bring family visiting from overseas on the day of my birthday in for a lift she made a big scene of them not having IDs and needing a waiver signed by a parent which could have been understood in a much calmer manner. After bringing their parent from 9th street in to sign she says she doesnt "Trust the situation" forcing them to leave. After working out and leaving she calls me over to inform me of the revoking of my membership. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Your better off with Worlds Gym on 64th street.

I come here for a week every year when my family vacations in the area. Facility is clean and in great repair, excellent cardio and weight lifting equipment. It expanded a year or two ago and is now quite large. Experience has been very positive now for 6 straight years. I travel frequently for work and always find a gym in the area, and as such have seen many gyms all over the county. This one is definitely well above the curve.

I have been a member of the Powerhouse Gym since 2010. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable. There is new equipment also. I prefer to take group classes couple times a week. The selection of classes is various. If you a new in the club, take classes with instructor called Amber. She is great instructor and very energetic person. Her classes are not easy, but you will get a great work out!!!

I was on vacation and needed a gym to help work off all the pizza and subs that Ive consumed. This place was 8 mins from the hotel I was staying in on the boardwalk, and was glad to find it. Plenty of equipment and didnt have to wait for anyone. The people at the front desk were very polite and eager to help. Will definitely come here on future vacations.

Great family gym that has everything you need! The staff are always friendly and keeps the facility clean. They offer childcare, aeriobic and spin classes, tanning, saunas, etc.! I recommend to all locals and vacationers.

When I visit Ocean City from Philly I always stop here to workout. Very convenient and not far from the boardwalk. Its a clean gym and a little tight in some areas but gets the job done. Cardio machines are great!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE PLACE!! CHARGED MONEY I NEEDED FOR MY BILLS WITHOUT ASKING!!!!!!!! Today is not the 1st nor the 15th so they shouldnt be charging ANYTHING!! WILL NEVER EVER BE HERE AGAIN!!

Any time Im in Ocean City MD Ill be at this gym. Very clean with nice equipment. Staff I saw was all friendly and helpful. Decent quality machines with a fantastic selection.
