I love this place! Ive been going since it was nearly open and have always felt it to be a really upbeat and comfortable environment. The facility is spotless and they are very particular about keeping things clean. They stock the antiseptic bottles and there are always lots of them around the room with cleaning rags. Most members are also very diligent about cleaning after using the machines. Gyms are petri dishes for bacteria in general but this place is almost surgery room sterile. Kurt and his staff are very responsive and helpful. There is not much staff turnover which reinforces how well-run the place is. When a machine breaks down, it is generally fixed very quickly. My old gym would have equipment sitting broken down for weeks/months on end but this place takes care of business immediately! This is a true neighborhood gym. Many of my neighbors go there and I love that its not just for muscleheads. This is a place for us regulars, though there are certainly some really dedicated bodybuilders too. But wherever you are on the fitness spectrum, you will feel at home and comfortable here. Several of the trainers have really inspirational stories as well, from a 100 lb weight loss to MS. If they cant inspire you, I dont know who or what will! If you are looking for a clean, well-run and maintained gym and dont need classes or a lot of extras (and the fees that come with them), this is absolutely your place!

Ive been a member for about a year, and Im very pleased. The place is clean and well lit, and the staff is friendly. Most of the members are friendly and have good gym etiquette. The equipment is well maintained and they have all the basics. Im able to go during slow times, so I can usually get a workout in with little to no waiting. During peak hours, you have to be flexible but its still a decent place for weight-training. Theyve recently acquired a 2nd squat rack, which boosted my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. However, the space is still overcrowded with circuit weight training machines, which are seldom used. The cardio equipment is a little too abundant as well. Id like to see the space open up a bit more, because it can be difficult to find floor space to work in. Sometimes I cant use the battle ropes because people have to use that floor space for stretching/warm-ups. IThis is a good gym for people who enjoy weight-training, including beginners. Lots of the members are very fit, but there is a wide range of ages and sizes too. Ive always felt comfortable working out there and Im an average sized, middle-aged female with a weirdly shaped mama belly! Because its no frills, its also a bargain.

Overall, its a nice gym, especially for the money. Free weights, a bunch of weight lifting machines including cables, a decent amount of cardio equipment (bike, elliptical machines, treadmills, etc.), and some abdominal stuff (balls, mats, etc.). Pros: *Cheap & no contract *Appears to be clean, neat, and well kept *Friendly staff *Nice mix of people (different ages, types of people, both guys and gals, all with different goals) Cons: *Small & crowded (avoid going between 5 & 7 pm) *There are bathrooms & changing rooms, but NO SHOWERS (This doesnt bother me, I only live a mile away, but for some who hit the gym in the morning on their way to work it could be an issue.) I’ve been going now for a week (4 times so far) and I’m happy. Like I said, for the price (I chose the $39 joining fee & $16/month plan) and the no contract (month to month) you can’t beat it.

Awful experience. When I joined, they told me that if I didnt have enough money for the dues in my account, my membership would be cancelled immediately. My identity got stolen a few months back and my accounts were drained, so I couldnt make a payment. Since they didnt charge me for three months after that, I figured it was cancelled. Until I saw that they randomly charged my account $48 after not touching it at all. When I went it to explain and try to get my money back, they accused me of lying about what was said to me when I joined about their billing policy and gave a hard time when I wanted to cancel. It took me 15 minutes to cancel my membership because they were harassing me the whole time. This gym is also small, crowded, and lacks showers and enough changing rooms. Please please PLEASE take this advice and do not go here.

I have been a member of Fitness 19 for almost 10 years. I went to the one in Vegas for years. When I moved here, I transferred my membership. When this gym was new, it was clean, the weight room was put together. Now, I dont do anymore because equipment is broken, it takes me forever to find weights in the weight room. After the manager leaves, the staff sit at the front desk talking and the only cleaning I have seen them do is vacuum. At the end of the day, the wash clothes to clean the equipment are soaked. I have never seen the staff wipe off the equipment. In Vegas, the gyms (to this day bec when I visit I workout there) they are clean, weight rooms are put together, staff wipes down the equipment daily. I am sad to say if I stay in this area I will have to part from this gym.

Pros: Friendly staff/trainers, clean gym, free weights, cardio machines, weight machines, cable machines, classes, membership below $20 a month. Cons: small gym - everything is in one room, no space for power lifting, gets very crowded around 5pm. Overall: If you are training to improve your physique, strength, endurance, or sports conditioning this gym has everything you need and for the price it makes sense. If you absolutely have to have power lifting stations, basketball courts, a pool, showers, then youll have to go elsewhere and expect to pay much more. Personally, I feel that with a small gym you tend to get more attention from staff when you need something. They remember your name and they appreciate your membership. Thats what keeps members coming back everyday.

Went to speak to a manager (woman) to get rates. Told $69, 12 per month. Asked if that is the entire sign up and annual costs. Told it was. Given a 7 day pass, so far so good. Go to sign up, told by a different manager that there are additional fees for "maintenance of equipment". Told him that was not mentioned, he said thats the deal. What the heck are the monthly dues and initiation for if not to maintain the gym? The $29 was not the issue, it was the BS I was told prior. Dishonest. Why cant places like this just deal from the top of the deck? So, they give up over $200 for $29.

This is literally one of the best gyms in the area, Yes its a commercial gym however this place is ran by two guys(Kurt and Eric) who care about their members and their goals. For a small space they have two squat racks as well as some nice barbells (Rogue power bars) The gym also provides mats so you can dead lift. Oh and its extremely affordable and does not require a contract! The culture in this gym in unique youll literally want to train everyday because everyone there are supportive and fun to be around. Sign up now you wont be disappointed!
