I have been a member of the RockWell community for most of 2015 and every day at the gym is better than the previous day. Here’s what I love about RockWell: The Community – First and foremost, thank you to Joe, Billy, Betsy, Jen, Stu, Kate, Cindy, everyone in the FIT program as well as Paul, Dan, Chris, Robert and everyone in the weight room. Thank you for all of the encouragement and for pushing me day in and day out. I would not have progressed as much as I have without your help. Please keep pushing me. The Team – Beyond the community members, I owe a great deal of gratitude to everyone on the RockWell team who has helped me every step of the way. The entire team wants to see you succeed and meet your goals. They will help you be accountable to yourself and help you achieve the results you expect. - Joe – Thank you for all of the FIT programs, training and personal training advice. - Danny – Thank you for helping me get started, helping me progress through the programs and educating me along the way. - Leslie – Thank you for always watching out for me and all of the encouragement. - Lisa – Thank you for the introduction to Joe to help me get started as well as the educational programs. - Devin – Thank you for all of your encouragement and it’s time to help me get to the next level. - Front Desk - Thank you to everyone (LaToya, Kat, et. al) at the front desk for keeping the gym running smoothly. The Programs – I have only been involved in a few of the programs, but all of them can easily be adjusted for your needs and be expanded as you grow. Another part about the community and programs that is awesome is that they are for every age group. In many of the workouts there are young athletes all the way up to seniors who will kick your butt if you don’t watch it. If you are smart, you will learn a lot from everyone and build your skills, strength and confidence. As a final point, you need to trust the trainers and the programs. If you put consistent time into the programs, you will achieve the results you want. Education – I started off with the 6 Week Transformation Program and it was a great way for me to get started. This program helped with building a routine, getting educated about myself, diet, fitness and techniques that really work. This education has not stopped. I continue to learn from the trainers with all kinds of challenging exercises, questions about my health, fitness and diet as well as new plans to help me reach my goals. It’s fun – It is a TON of fun. The harder the challenge, the better. I love the ropes, balls, burpees, sleds…. Oh yeah!!! Thanks again to everyone at RockWell who has helped me.

RockWell Fitness is my preferred neighborhood gym because I like quick high intensity workouts as well as strength training in a supportive, non chest beating environment. RockWell offers just what I need through the FIT for Life group training sessions that are offered weekdays, early and mid mornings, and in the evenings. Two more intense sessions are offered on Saturdays. RockWell also offers small group personal training programs such as RockWell Belles and FIT BODIES. A plethora of group exercise classes, something for everyone, whether you are new to the gym or a seasoned cyclist are available every day of the week. For those with children, there is no excuse for missing a workout because the Kids Club is open during peak times to care for your kids. The front of the gym offers a ton of cardio equipment and the back area is designated for lifting. Recently renovated locker rooms with decent showers and locker space help make working out before work feasible for many. If you need a pick-me-up, have a protein shake prepared for you and enjoy. The ones Ive tried beat the local chain competition with ease. Occasional gym wide challenges help members stay motivated and on track. The staff is very welcoming and the trainers are educated, proactive and supportive. My only complaint would that the gym could use a more frequent thorough cleaning. While I believe most areas are cleaned daily, the harder to reach places, like rafters, ceiling fans, and under heavy equipment could use attention more often. After 6+ years working out at the same location, RockWell still rocks!

This is why I cancelled my membership. When the place changed owners a few year back we were excited about changes and renovations. After what seemed like a year of construction the finished product wasnt what they promised. Then in 2015 the owner posted a letter after the renovation was supposed to be done that he was going to do more. OK put your money where your mouth is. There were promises of saunas, a spinning room, towel service, all new equipment to replace the ancient stuff, and a bunch of other things. And that theyd be done by the end of 2015. Well let me tell you, that letter disappeared and so did these additional changes. I mean some of that equipment must be 20 years old or older. Theyve also had like 4 or 5 managers in the last two years and now my friend who is about to cancel too told me they are about to increase their childcare costs. The Y childcare is free! Glad Im a Y member now.

Hi I am Norah A. I am 15. I was born with loose ankles and weak muscles. I have been to multiple physical therapy places and methods. They all have helped, and I eventually improved so much I did not need it anymore. After about 3 years, we decided to have physical therapy. After trying two places with water therapy which worked okay, we switched to working out at Sport Fit. No other place has helped me better! I have a personal trainer, Susan. She is great and I my ankles are so much stronger and my balance has improved with flying colors. Sport Fit is also a great enviroment with nice people. My parents have trainers and they are great too. (Brett (my dads trainer) and Priscilla (my moms trainer)). The front desk workers are also very friendly. I would consider Sport Fit a great place to work if I ever get a job. Thank you Sport Fit!

This is a great community gym. I have been a member for about 3 years and and very much appreciate the changes to the gym. Owner dramatically expanded the club, put in all new cardio, total renovation. Outstanding personal training and my wife loves the group classes and spin. New manager (Ryan) is great. We were members of another local club when we made the change to RockWell..... glad we did. Keep up the good work!

Ive been a member of many of the gyms in this area and Sport Fit is by far my favorite. Its inexpensive to join and they have all the same opportunities that other gyms have plus some. They have both free and paid classes, some of the newest types of workouts, and a friendly staff. It feels like a part of the community. After six months there, I feel as healthy as ever.

NOT A GOOD GYM. THE GYM IS DIRTY AND WHEN YOU GO TO CANCEL AFTER THE ONE YEAR IS UP THEY MAKE YOU COME INTO THE GYM WITH A CERTIFIED LETTER OR CANCEL IN PERSON. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD TWO MONTHS AFTER THE SALES PERSON TOLD ME HE WOULD TAKE IF OFF THE AUTOMATED ELECTRONIC PAY PLAN. THEY DO NOT CONDUCT THESELVES PROFESSIONALLY AND THE MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE. STAY AWAY!
