I have had the worst possible member experience in this branch for two summers in a row. Ive been in twice, each time for products and services related to international travel. The sheer ineptitude and virtual absence of effective communication skills on the part of the staff there is simply breathtaking. My recent trip to the branch was so bad that I got the number of the regional HQ in Rhode Island and spoke to them about it. They were very helpful. At this point, I cant imagine using AAA for anything other than emergency road service. The people in the Acton branch were not unfriendly or discourteous at all, but there is no competency or professionalism to be found. The office is dysfunctional. AAAs internal systems and business practices are also illogical and archaic, which doesnt help. Very unfortunate.

My husband and I visited the Acton branch to get directions for a road trip down south to Nashville and North Carolina at the beginning of this month. The woman who assisted us at that time said that she would prepare a trip tych and provide us with information on hotels and to return the week of our trip for the information. I came into the the AAA office today, the day before our trip and NOBODY had any information on us or on our trip. I found that very hard to believe and simply inexcusable since the woman who assisted us a few weeks ago took down my husbands AAA account number. This office is right up the street from my house, but I will think twice and perhaps go elsewhere the next time I need AAA information.

Earnest King Jr. was very helpful with my question on what options I had for overseas prepaid debit cards. AAA website indicated the AAA membership AMEX prepaid debit card indicated it can be used overseas. He thought it could not be used overseas so he placed a call with AMEX and was told it could be used overseas. Very helpful and courteous staff. Yes, I was able to use the AAA membership AMEX prepaid card in Taiwan.

Recently visited the office for maps and books for our upcoming vacation. Attendant was professional and courteous. All the materials we wanted were available and the day before we leave we are to pick up the route map with the most up to date construction project information. All my AAA experiences have been as expected and I have always had good service. Thanks AAA.

Went there to get the International driver Licence who our daughter who temporary lives abroad and cannot come to US just to renew her regular licence. Whole thing took only few minutes. The women at the counter was very nice and despite that fact that our daughters AAA membership has expired, let us used ours for the procedures. Great service!

I have always had great experiences with this particular AAA. I recently went to them for a trip tic to South Carolina. Although I only wanted the driving directions, they offered to find me hotels, places to stop and eat and even gas stations. Im sure my trip will be much easier because of these wonderful people.

My daughter recently traveled to China. We got the required photo for her Chinese visa within minutes, and free of charge. And when it came to getting her some yuan for her trip, we had it within 24 hours of ordering it - in far less time than we had been led to expect. A very satisfying experience.

Overall the associate who worked with me was very thorough in doing my Trip Tik and providing my with maps. However, I felt that on my 1st visit she was a bit rushed and I didnt really get a chance to interact with her as I had a few years back. But I would still rate the service at 5 stars.

Movie tickets are a staple for us at the Holidays for many gifts. Easy to park, (even on the 23rd) easy to be serviced within minutes, and the staff was very friendly and chatty (my idea of great service!)
