The four stars are for the patient and good-natured staff on a day when waits were very long as folks were" trying" to open their new E-ZPass account before the of October but the MassDOT computer system was stressed beyond the breaking point. I personally stood in line (or sat for bit-Im 83) for over three hours while the clerk had to entered and re-enter my personnel information a number times before my account was finally opened and a registred transponder issued to me. As it turned out, a total of FIVE accounts had been opened in my name during the process and my bank account charged a total of $100 (it was supposed to be $20). When I was finally able to get through to DOT customer service, they (claimed to have) cancelled the four duplicate accounts but advised it would take five or six weeks before I receive the $80 credit I am due; I am still waiting.. But, in spite of all the stress, the AAA staff remained calm, friendly, and patient with all of the very frustrated members who just wanted to open their account, get their transponder, and get out.

Quick and the staff is friendly! I love AAA but always be sure to check your receipt! I went to buy 5 6Flag tickets & 1 parking pass and when I reached my car the total charged seemed more than expected. Since conversating with the lady I never payed any mind to the total given. When I got to my car & looked at my receipt I seen that I was charged $90 instead of $18 for 1 parking pass. Thankfully I didnt drive off before realizing the error because at that point it would have been her word over mine. I went back in immediately and when the lady saw me she looked confused so I explained & she was quick to oppologize and recognize her mistake. I told her it was an honest error since I was buying 5 tickets that number just stuck with her when it came to the total for parking passes. Told her Im just glad I noticed it now instead of later when it would have been harder to prove and she agreed. She quickly returned the $72 dollar mistake. Other than that error I love AAA ❤️

As a member, I went in to get some maps of the area. I asked the woman behind the counter if she had a map of Boston, and she responded with great enthusiasm, Oh yes we do. . . and three minutes later I had several maps of Boston, touring books, Maps of the suburbs . . . She tallied it all up -- which suggested to me that I was going to be charged -- but it was all free. So, I received a real wealth of information -- for no cost. . . just for being a member, which confers a number of other benefits that more than pay for cost of membership. This is just another example of why I honestly believe that membership in AAA is easily one of the smartest things that any driver can enroll in. (My automobile insurance that I got through AAA was far less expensive than any other insurance plan I compared it to.)

I was amazed how easy and super professional renewing my license was!! After seeing a HUGE 3 hour minimum line at the registry, I thought ; there must be a better way .. and somehow I found out that AAA is an official office of the registry. Following my instincts that the private sector often does a far better job than a government agency, i thought Ill give it a try WOW, my instincts were right! AAA is a total 180 from the hideous registry!!! I am soooo glad that i am a member [ this must sounds like a paid endorsement, it is not, I am just a regular guy .. who is very expressive when I am either pleased with a service as well as when I am furious at profoundly bad behavior.

Horrible service - AAA branch manager would not issue my husband a new reg sticker for my car (his wife) as I did not have a AAA membership. This was AFTER I called and was told it would be no problem. He arrived - took time off from work- and was sent away with no offer of a solution to this stupid little problem. After he left I called the Waltham branch and the woman there immediately added me as an associate member. She was very helpful and apologetic. The branch manager at the Framingham RMV needs to go... this company was supposed to be about service, right? What a JOKE!!! We resolved the problem by going to see the friendly folks at the RMV

I have used AAA in Framingham quite often. I have secured my car loan thru them, renewed my drivers license, purchased movie tickets and have started using my AAA card as an American Express prepaid card for online purchases. As most Americans know, going to the registry can be an all day long nightmare with unpleasant people assigned to assist you. Having the registry feature available is such a bonus and the people at AAA Framingham all have smiles and even at the busiest times, a desire to help and make your visit as pleasant as possible. I love having them close by, but would drive the distance to use them.

Recently used this AAA office to do some Registry business and couldnt be happier! As opposed to going to the nearest Registry office which is over 10 miles from my house to renew my license recently, I was able to go to the AAA office in Framingham which I drive by every day on my way to work. I was able to walk in in the morning, no line, so I was helped right away by a friendly associate behind the counter. As everyone knows, going to the RMV these days is a royal pain in the butt. I probably would have waited there for over an hour. In my mind this experience justified the cost of AAA this year!

Thanks for asking. We actually were turned away as it was close to their closing time. They were nice as they gave us tour book, map and other info. We want to sit down with someone and discuss a Hawaii vacation. Last year, we came and waited over an hour but no one was free to talk with us. This time they suggested that we come sharp at 9:00 AM to be able to find someone free. They do not make an appointment. It is very difficult for us to come that early. We then went to Liberty Travel and sat down with them. We will come one more time to see if we are lucky to get help from AAA person. Thanks.

I went to the AAA office to create an EZ Pass account and it was the best experience ever! The older woman who helped me was extremely informative and pleasant. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves to be recognized for her customer service skills. She also noticed that my license was about to expire and recommended that I go back to AAA since they can renew licenses...who wants to wait forever at the RMV? Not me, that is for sure. I will definitely be back to this AAA branch in the next month or two.

My wife and I came to AAA to renew a drivers license and get passport photos. We were especially pleased that we could bypass the Registry process, which always seems to take a long time no matter how few people are in line. We received prompt and cheerful service from both the Registry business desk and the passport photographer and were done with the process -- for both tasks -- in less than a half hour. Good going, AAA. I hope the Registry services function can become more widely available at other branches.
