Unfortunately, our trip planned through Gina at the Lawrence office of AAA did not compare to last years arrangement made at the same office. Although we were satisfied with our room, we were given the wrong information from your agent about where to pick up our rental. This resulted in a bus trip out of the airport to another area of rentals. We were told there that we could continue with the rental but it would have cost us another $60.00 or more to do so. In addition, we had to pay $13.00 for a taxi ride back to the airport, as this rental did not provide free return trips. Secondly, she did not return calls when asked and did not mail out our paperwork in a timely manner. She ended up delivering them to our home as mail delivery wouldnt have gotten it to us on time. In her defense, she did get us a good price for our flight but made the reservations before we had decided exactly where we were going. Because we were making our plans late, I had told her we would accept any place between New Smyrna Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Had we ended up closer to New Smyrna Beach, we would have had a 3-1/2 drive from the Fort Lauderdale airport. She probably would have tried to get us another flight, but, as I said before, because we were making our plans late, that may not have been possible. All in all we were not happy with these arrangements.

For longer driving trips a set of up-to-date and accurate state highway and city maps is still the preferred (make it `indispensable) tool, either for planning or for the actual driving. AAA maintains the publication of such high quality information. I recently (Sept. 2014) visited AAA Lawrence at its new location. I was very pleased to be met with the same high level of service, the same courtesy, and the same enthusiasm.

My husband and I were met with smiles and hellos when we walked into this branch. We were there to have our passport photos taken. The young man who waited on us was pleasant and knowledgeable. He even printed out the forms for us to fill out for our passports. I look forward to doing business with the people at this branch again.
