First time I every felt some disorganization and a lack of happiness amongst the employees at AAA (it was reminiscent to the DMV on a very small scale). I was there to renew my membership and MV registration. There was a new system in place as to forming line and the signs were not clear; rather confusing. Everyone coming in was going to the wrong area, discussing the matter and the women behind the counter spoke rather sharply to us when we asked about the process. The frustration came when people coming in were be waited on out of order and we all just wanted clarity as to what line or area we should or should not be in. I have always spoken highly of AAA and hope they can fix this service niche.

After misplacing my drivers license and finally going to the local DMV to initiate the process of obtaining another, I experienced a typical DMV visit: frustrating wait, no clear directive, many many people in front of me. There I saw a poster directing some applicants to the AAA office ( not far away). At AAA I was immediately greeted, informed of what I needed to do. My application plus photo were taken on the spot, all for a small fee. I left with a valid, temporary paper license and received my permanent one in the mail 2 weeks later. Very satisfied with all of it and though membership was not a prerequisite for DMV service, I am glad to be a member.

I went to AAA in Middletown to get an International Drivers License. That was done quickly and then I let them send for $2,000.00 in EUROs that I picked up later in the week. I gave them a USA check for the EUROs. When I tried to give the EUROs back after my trip and was told that I would have to come back many times as they could only give me $500 at a time. As one of my EUROs was for 500.00 I wondered how they would handle that and they had no answer. I went to my bank and got all the rest of my EUROs changed into deposits to my account - in the same day.

Excellent service deserves recognition. It seems that almost every year sees AAA increase the competence and scope of its services. Clearly, the Middletown Branch has its ear to the ground, what a treat to manage most automobile requirements so promptly and pleasantly. In fact, I cannot remember a single difficult exchange at this branch. Even with internet travel becoming so easy, I still enjoy speaking with a knowledgeable travel agent. It is a treat in these times cyber isolation.

Ive had to stop by for my sons lost license and his passport photo,Thank god for AAA handling these things.It all took about 15 min imagine how long the DMV would have taken. The willingness to help in each situation was tremendous we were pressed for time , he needed his ID to sign up for classes as a new transfer student for a noon appointment and we got it all done with time to spare.Everyone was very helpful. Came in for a license address change and voter registration. Linda, I believe, handled everything courteously and efficiently. Issued a temporary license which I only needed for a few days as permanent one from RI DMV arrived yesterday. I will check in a few days with Board of Canvassers but I anticipate no problems. Speaking with a friend on the weekend, we both agreed that AAA is probably one of the best values in America.

I had a great experience renewing my license. They were quick and courteous, and I thought the experience was very worthwhile (of course, since the DMV is the comparison its not exactly shocking that they can offer better service, but even so they did a great job). I smiled at the camera and she had me retake it a few times until it looked great; this was so much better than being dealt with gruffly at the DMV. Many thanks.

Great experience i had aaa of middleton the young lady that helped me reregister my truck was pleasant an quick i will never go to registry again no lines just quick service for a very small fee the membership i have is worth more then a tow in emergency which i didnt know much about but someone told me an im glad i went there if you dont have aaa get it its worth it Aplus to aaa thanks Dan

We are new members planning a road trip across USA. Realized husbands drivers license was going to expire mid trip. We took the filled in paperwork and within 20 minutes, had the license renewal process completed. While I waited, found some items for sale that I had been looking for - and all at a great discount. I arrived first thing in the morning to renew my drivers license. There were a few delays while equipment was being booted up, etc. Other than that, service was quick, friendly, and so much better than going to the DMV. Well worth the membership dues in order to skip the lines and be quickly served.

Was able to get my passport photos taken and even asked if I liked it before being printed, then was able to look for some travel guides. The whole visit to about 10 min if that. I love the extra services I get with my AAA membership, and have always had excellent service at the Middletown store.

My car wouldnt start as one of my lights was left on overnight. I called AAA and within 30 minutes they were at my car and had it going in no time at all. The technician was very nice,(even though it was freezing out) and he was very courteous. I will never go without AAA.

Re-registering an expired vehicle registration took only a few minutes. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful - much different from my prior experiences at the RIDMV. I will use AAA for all of my DMV needs in the future.

I understand that they dont want dogs in their store. However with their notice of no dogs allowed which as stated in the notice to include comfort dogs this bars some vets with PTSD thus bars these vets.
