We wanted to write and express our huge gratitude for your exceptional care of our son. Most of you don’t know this but we lost our housing in Boston. on our son’s birth due date. That was also the week of the Boston Marathon bombing and as we lived two miles from the finish line. I spent multiple days alone in lock-down hoping that I would get to the hospital ok. My birth plan was thorough but I neglected to include lock down to it. To make matters worse my job was unexpectedly reduced to part time and my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The relocation resulted in my husband having to find a new job and my son had terrible colic. When we found your daycare center it was literally lifesaving. All of those stressful factors had resulted in a hearty case of postpartum depression and anxiety. We had lost our support system and had no local family to help. I was literally terrified to let anyone else care for my son. It was immediately clear that I could trust the team at your daycare to not only keep our newborn safe but to help him learn and grow into the confident and curious as well as healthy but most important happy toddler that he is today.

I can still remember speaking with you for the first time when child was just 9 months old. I was so upset with her daycare at the time, and we scheduled a time to come see Blossom Station. What a breath of fresh air it was to come meet you and see what a daycare should look like and how it should function. You worked with us and allowed us the opportunity to enroll. It has been an amazing 5 years for her there. Not having family nearby, Blossom Station has been our “family”. I have looked to you all for support and advice from potty training, to handling meltdowns. The list is endless. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for working with us so that our children have been able to experience such a wonderful environment. While I certainly look forward to her future, I am also sad today is her last day. Thank you for being her home away from home these last 5 years! Please know that we truly appreciate you!

Blossom Station is possibly the worst childcare center I have ever witnessed. The staff are treated terribly by the money-hungry owner and are denied over time pay and are not even paid the minimum preschool teacher salary. Many are forced to leave because of the low wages and bad treatment by the owner. The staff turnaround is horrible with a new inexperienced and often unlicensed teacher being thrust into the classroom every month. The children are entrusted to anyone with a pulse. This is not to say that all of the teachers are terrible, many are honest kind people attempting to make the best of their deplorable conditions. If you want your child to attend a center where state regulations are violated regularly and employees who are not liscenced care for your child then Blossom Station is certainly the place for you.

On Zachary’s first day at Blossom Station in May, I pulled out of your parking lot crying. Five years later, on our Zach’s last day at Blossom Station, I pulled out of your parking lot crying once again. How does one express the gratitude we have for five years of care, nurturing, trust, education, and love you and your staff have given him? Thank you for the community and the second home you have given him. Thank you for helping us through his rough times and for celebrating his joys. Thank you for all that you have given him. You have prepared him well. I’m struck with the image of book-ends e.g. one of beginnings and the other of endings. Me crying on that first day because I didn’t want to leave him and crying again today because I don’t want him to have to leave. With love and gratitude, Zachery’s parents

Blossom Station is a state-of-the-art day care and pre-school facility. The staff and Director are welcoming and professional in each and every interaction with families and children. The setting is absolutely beautiful; the children are surrounded by all the developmentally appropriate toys and tools they need to thrive and grow, and as a bonus, the outdoor playground and gardens feel like a sanctuary for the entire community. It is so reassuring to know that parents can trust that their children will not only be well cared for, but encouraged to attain new milestones on a regular basis. It is obvious that the Director has taken incredible time, energy, and commitment to her philosophy of education to create this amazing environment. I give Blossom Station a five star rating!

I can’t believe that is has been 5 ½ years since we started coming to Blossom Station! Thank you for everything you and your teachers have done. I am especially grateful that you generously allowed me to contribute to the household income by giving us a great rate and being very, very patient with us through the financial difficulties we have been going through. I wish you, your family, and the Blossom Station good luck. Have a wonderful summer! Thank you again.

We would like to take a moment to thank you and your incredibly gifted staff for the warmth, care, and compassion you have provided to N. for nearly 5 years. Blossom Station has been N.’s home away from home, and we are incredibly fortunate to have been able to provide this opportunity to him. Thank you so much!
