I love Skribbles and my 4 year old loves it, too. This is his 3rd daycare location and he has definitely communicated what he does and doesnt like in a facility. Skribbles is tops. Weve moved a couple times recently, so Ive probably interviewed/visited at least 20 daycares in the New England area. Skribbles has a quality that you cant quantify with certifications, advertising or statistics; they really like teaching and playing with kids (They being the leadership and the staff) It is that "hunch" or "word of mouth" quality that is really hard to know without experiencing it. I certainly didnt know about it when we started out on this process years ago. Im not sure how else to describe it; every place has a similar minimum standard. Every place keeps the kids supervised, fed and provides engagement. But, some places (I dont like) feel more like a business and treat the kids as a commodity. You dont see teachers really sitting down with the kids. A big tip off is you see teachers always talking to each other and not the kids. Great places, like Skribbles, the attitude is totally the opposite. When I first visited, in each room the teachers were sitting down with kids and actively participating with the kids, not just supervising, not just monitoring. It makes a difference to the child, it makes it a place the child wants to come back to again and again.

I love it there because it is so fun and there is a lot of stuff to do and play with. They teach us by playing and we learn fast. Right now Im in forth grade and I am the smartest kid in my class. All because of one little day care. That all led up to who I am now. My name is Kiara and I approve this message. ;-)

I have worked @ skribbles since 2012 in the infant room. I look forward to going to my job everyday. . The children here @ skribbles are always happy and always learning new and exciting thing everyday. They also treat their employees with respect. I look forward to continue to work their more years.
